Razz gives an 'ooo' of understanding as he nods at the other's explanation. It was still some odd phrasing, though he understands that there were just some habits one couldn't get rid of based off where they were raised. As it was Razz always found it nerve wrecking that some of his own habits would appear more Kantoian to those who knew the culture well enough. [break][break]

With Oshawott helping aide Sage in finding their culprit they ignored the pokemon around them in favor of moving on. Something Razz didn't mind as this was more for a job than anything else. "Well blood relations shouldn't be too important, even family can be toxic right?" there is a sad chuckle there for him as even saying it hurts sometimes. Though he also understands that some relations just weren't worth it. A lesson he feels he learned the hard way.

Without warning, an Emolga perches itself upon the ambassadors shoulder to nibble away at a chestnut it carries in its mouth. Remiel turns to regard the little critter with a blank expression, and Thorgrim stops to turn and look at it himself. When the cat steps forward to see if it can convince his master to hand it over, however, Remiel holds up a hand. No, you may not.[break][break]

Disappointed, Thorgrim turns back around and stomps away. The Emolga, in the meantime, regards Remiel with a cheery squeak and rubs its cheek against his. Despite the stinging static, the black-haired royal doesn't pull away or shoo it to leave. It serves to remind him of a pet he once had as a boy...[break][break]

He snaps back to attention when Razz utters his remark. "Hm? Oh. Yes, I suppose... though I don't have many people I'd consider family outside of blood relation, however." He admits.[break]

"Do people consider those outside blood family?" Razz can't help but genuinely ask. He doesn't have many relations with people so thinking of people outside of blood as family seemed odd concept. Wait wasn't there some sort of story trope like that? [break][break]

Not that he was given much chance to think about it as the Oshawott called out grabbing the Ranger's attention. It was hard to miss the figure of the man they've been looking for. Looks like their conversation would have to wait, "Adam Promise stop where you are or we'll have to do this the hard way," Razz is quick to warn. The man was seeming to try to talk to a Horsea when he was caught. Though it seems than rather than listening he decides to give up what he was trying to do and kicks the pokemon instead before running off. [break][break]

And seeing as Razz was a Ranger, he technically had to think of the safety of pokemon. With a whistle Sage is quick to move needing to jump in order to catch the poor sea horse pokemon as Razz ran up to check on it as well. With knocked out eyes having been caught off guard Razz decides to capture it in a pokeball before going after the man. This time determined not to let them get away.

While he would have happily answered Razz's question, their traversal across the terrain suddenly brought them face-to-face with Adam Promise himself. Remiel snaps his Galarian Meowth to attention with a snap of his fingers, as the ranger commands their escaped fugitive to freeze. When he kicks a Horsea and bolts off, however, the ambassador sends his bearded cat forward.[break][break]

Thogrim chortles mischievously as he gives chase. Within moments, however, he spots another form running alongside them nearby. A Boltund has made its presence known, and appears interested in the cat rather than the human. It pounces towards Thorgrim before long to PLAY ROUGH, though the attempt proves rather ineffective.[break][break]

Shoved into the ground with its own FOUL PLAY, the fugitive manages to slip away for now. But, at the very least, Remiel produces a luxury ball and captures the feisty dog. Picking up the now occupied ball, Remiel sighs. "Let's make haste, Razz. We can catch up to him."[break]
