And why was Chu-e awake? Nightmares! Fun times.

But rather than lay in his hotel room bed for who knew how long staring at the ceiling, he had taken the initiative to get his ass up. The whole reason he had come out to Rustboro was in his endless hunt for fairies and there were few places better to hunt them. He had always had good luck here.

A coffee in hand found him standing at the edge of the woods, staring mournfully into it as he thought about his plan of attack. Then a flash of red caught his eye. Was that....? He approached.

"Oh. You're just a person." The disappoint was clear in his voice.

Sénon Game

Honestly, Chu-e was probably on a bounty list somewhere. Or had been, before it was assumed he was dead.

He was about to open his mouth and say something more, when a damned bat flew from the trees and smacked into his face. It got tangled in his hair and it took entirely too much effort to get it out- which led to a lot of small scratches on his face before he finally just used a Pokeball.

"I hope I don't have rabies now." He said, almost solemn. Then, well, now he really looked at Sénon Game. Really studied him. It may have been a long shot, but... "Hey, are you cait alfric's man?" Chu-e couldn't remember what his name was off the top of his head. "She said you had a good dick and a good heart." But he did remember that much.

Catching Noibat

"Eh. If I die, I die." Chu-e waved off maybe- Sénon Game's reply about the Noibat. That was a problem for future him.

"Want me to repeat the 'good heart' or 'good dick' part?" He answered, bemused. Guess it was safe to assume that this was the right guy. "Ji-hoon Ki. Nice to meet you."

Now, Chu-e took the chance to properly look the other up and down. "Ah, she was right. You are really handsome. Lucky her." He grinned, laughing softly as he did so.

Chu-e just gave a small laugh at the other's reply. He was about to answer when he saw the Granbull, then how Sénon Game treated the fairy type. He was impressed, making sure to nod in approval. "Not too many people are brave enough to use that technique on Granbull. That was one a female, though; she'll get real jealous if any ladies get around you now." Fairy types were one of the few things Chu-e knew a shitload about.

"No pictures, and I can't remember! Cinnamon? Sinci? She just said you had this luscious red hair and a were built like a brick shithouse. You're the first person I've met like that, other than Zac Ramsay, and just assumed." Maybe it was the aura. Maybe it was meta-gaming. Maybe Chu-e had done some dirty shit behind the scenes to find out what he looked like. Who knew. "She also said you were her Pyroar. It was sweet."

There was another rustling, and one of the rocks Chu-e had been standing close to suddenly moved. He frowned, not knowing what the hell this pokemon was. Still, he was pretty sure he saw someone online with a picture of one wanting to trade... so he tossed a pokeball at the weird rock.

Catching Stoneface!

"Maybe you're just not asking the right questions?" But Chu-e laughed to himself. He was suddenly feeling more energized with someone to tease nearby, even if it was only lightly. "Maybe your little grass goddess is embarrassed? She did try to unjustly arrest me when I came here. Thought I looked shady. Which, fair, but I was just seasick." There was more to it than that, of course, but the small omission of facts dripped like honey off his tongue.

A Druddigon stomped by in the distance. Chu-e could have possibly ran it down but he really wasn't that invested in the pokemon enough to do so. Plus, he couldn't really 'run' anywhere unless he wanted to cough up a lung. Perhaps literally.

"After that she let a Garvantula stick me to a wall. Then her Gengar kidnapped me, we smoked, she used her weird healing magic on me, then she fed me dinner. I sent her cookies for New Year's. Damn, I must be really unimportant." He seemed more amused by that thought than saddened, though.

Chu-e very carefully didn't answer that last question. He just gave another soft laugh. Poking the Pyroar.
