HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

On the way back through Route 116, saddled atop his newly evolved Mudsdale*, Adrian passed through the roughhewn mountains and rugged terrain mostly in silence, the only sound the clip-clop of his destrier's hooves against the packed earth. Can't wait to get home...

Breaking in the Mudsdale was doing a number on his thighs, chaffing him where it hurt most. While they both needed to be conditioned for riding, Adrian wished never to straddle a horse again... At least without a saddle.

I choose to ignore it.

Loudred could be unruly at the best of times; and besides, if provoking it started Mudsdale, it might spook and dismount him. "Come on, let's go."

Softly he dug the heel of his shoe into the pokemon's side, spurring it forward along the route back to Rustboro. Some people pointed at him, perhaps jeering. He supposed he must look out of place on a Mudsdale; Adrian certainly lacked that ranch hand vibe, that's for sure.

I didn't know they had Bidoof in Hoenn.

It's a surprise for him as Mudsdale trots up to a familiar, furry little friend with a familiar bucktooth grin. "Easy, there," he tries to soothe his horse, bringing it to a stop while Adrian prepares a pokeball. "Mudsdale, use STOMP."

Stygian hooves pulverize the ground, and eventually the Bidoof as well, makin a decisive strike and leaving the Bidoof stunned. With his pokeball tossed shortly thereafter, he waited with anticipation as it wriggled against the grass.
