Corphish' natural typing and SHELL ARMOR worked in conjunction, allowing it to push through the attack without suffering a pushback; it raised an open pincer towards Slowbro as it approached, perhaps hoping to GUILLOTINE the pokemon before it, but it was battling the sonic impulse that rattled throughout its inner shell.

As it clambered closer to Slowbro is began to teeter, thrashing that upraised pincer, hoping to clasp a great pinch of its fatty flesh and inflict pain. But it struggled to see a single Slowbro, instead seeing three of them as its vision began to blur.

Luckily it won out, and the pincer connected to the target despite its affliction...

Guillotine struck the oblivious Pokémon and Amnesia quickly made them forget the attack had even taken place. “Argos?” The Slowbro turned and gave a questioning look, seemingly forgetting there was even a battle to be had. “You used Amnesia for the whole battle didn’t you?” Rowan sighed and watched as Argos wandered off the arena and dropped lazily onto a mound of sand.

“Guess it’s over.” Clearly there wasn’t interest in continuing the battle, so Rowan would accept defeat even though not much damage had been done to Argos. “So, wanna go get a drink?”
