"Time for the Royal Rumble, ay?" Zac said to the group of his closest friends. They had assembled on Slateport Beach for the ultimate throwdown: The Four-way Fugger Fight.
"No holds barred, gloves off, time for some serious battling!" Zac said. He'd thought long and hard about his champion. A Pokemon who had never lost in battle. A powerhouse in his own right. An absolute legend.
"One Pokemon each, whoever is left standing is the champion. And don't worry," Zac chuckled, "I've brought my most powerful Pokemon."
Zac sent out Dunsparce. The venomous dragon shuffled chubbily along the ground, preserving his energy for the battle.

"well, i brought mine too!"

his mightyena comes out of its ball, a proud howl being sung as it presents itself to its competition. kyle's not sure where it gets its confidence from given how it's not exactly the most aggressive fighter compared to its brothers.

he takes one look at his pokemon, and then to everyone else participating.

"i got bravo. i skipped over alpha. he kinda sucks, not gonna lie."

he turns around and waves at his mightyena who sits by the sands a distance behind him to spectate. it turns its head to the side, unaware that he's being talked shit about.

It was time to officially find out, once and for all, who the biggest mother-fugger of them all was.[break][break]

As Zac and Kyle enthusiastically compare their chosen, boosting their pokemon’s egos with praise – minus Alpha but he apparently sucks, so nobody cares – Angelo opts not to chime in with a boast of his own. [break][break]

At his ankles restlessly stands a fuzzy ball of chaos, wide menacing teeth stretched as he flexes his claws in preparation; pointedly keeping hungry eyes fixed on Kyle’s Bravo. [break][break]

“This is Dorado.” Angelo motions with a hand to the gremlin at his ankles, casual. “He’s a pirate.” [break][break]

As if that wasn’t obvious already. Dorado has decided to sport a black bandana over his fuzzy head to this beach battle event; polished onyx coin pointedly tucked in front to keep his Galarian Meowth heritage on proud display. [break][break]

Pirates liked shiny things, after all. [break][break]

If one looked closely, they’d notice that the bandana is actually a clawed scrap of someone’s shirt. skyler dross ’s, specifically. One that Dorado had battled and now wore proudly as a trophy of his victory. [break][break]

“'No holds barred' is all you know, ain't that right, buddy?” Angelo risks a ruffle on top of the Meowth's head. Dorado hisses at him.

"guess its time to debut a new training partner i have with me today then. don't worry, they'll be sure to leave you guys on the ground when we're through. c'mon out sparx!" from behind him a pair of chairzards let out large breathes of flames as a pikachu dressed up in full on wrestling gear jumped over kazimir and raised its little fist into the air and let out a war cry in its own squeaky little voice. "don't let his size fool ya, this high flyer's got some serious punch to him! so let's get started boys!" with that kaz punched a fist into an open palm of his complete with manic grin.

"Oh! He's comin' for ya Dorado!" Zac warned, as Dunsparce blobbed towards Angelo's pirate. Kibou's tiny wings flapped hopelessly with each bounce forward, but his eyes were filled with determination. They looked closed, but you could still tell.
Kibou's drill tail started to spin as he approached Dorado's vicinity. His mouth opened wide well in advance, and his stubby fangs dripped poison onto the sand. "He's getting ready to bite!" Zac said warily. Dunsparce was a vicious, unpredictable predator, and there was no telling what havoc he would cause when he eventually reached his opponent.

in response to kazimir's warning, kyle opts for his pokemon to get the first move on the pikachu first. it's scary after all. when a pokemon wears a top-tier costume like that in battle, you know it's a big deal.

the mightyena quick draws and spews toxic at the pikachu the moment the first pokemon made its move to indicate the start of the fight.

kyle now has to decide whether the winged worm or the pirate was the next most dangerous thing in this four-way fugger fight. he guesses it's the pirate since only badasses can claim they're pirates, but the way the dunsparce moves is eerily scary in its own way.

“Keep on your toes, Dorado. It’s gaining speed.” Kibou wasn’t and Angelo knew it. [break][break]

But pirates do not run. Pirates bring the fight to their enemies and plunder the treasure! Pirates win! [break][break]

Dorado, fearlessly and stupidly, although those often come intertwined, charges towards the crawling opponent to meet it head on with a yowl and a flash of menacing teeth. He’d wanted to claw the mangy mutt’s eyes out first but if the worm so desperately wanted his attention, then so be it. He’ll shred this one first! [break][break]

Kibou’s poison coated fangs are met with a METAL CLAW being shoved into its face. Dorado doesn’t flinch, he can’t even feel it thanks to his steel typing, although his manic grin spreads wider at the poor unsuspecting Dunsparce. [break][break]

Angelo watches as the savage seafaring cat, with his paw stuck in Kibou’s mouth, starts to wave it around like a flag in the air. [break][break]

“For the record. I didn’t teach him that…”

as the toxic sludge coated the pikachu the little mouse did his best to keep himself from retching due to the smell. still he would not let something like smells do him in. "just shake it off sparx, or better yet...shock it off, and let's show them how a real royal rumble is fought!" kaz did hsi best to cheer up his little mouse friend and the pikachu cried in agreement as it started to charge vast amounts of electricity around it before shooting forward. the pain from the huge voltage running through its body was a consequence he could bear as he set his eyes on the dunsparce and meowth that were busy with one another and aimed his volt tackle at the both of them, hoping to take them down in one hit!

notes; pikachu uses volt tackle on both dunsparce and galarian meowth!

Dorado shoved its fist inside Kibou's mouth, and the gummy dragon bit down happily. Its poisonous chomp failed to melt or pierce the pirate's steely hide, and Dorado picked Dunsparce up, waving it in the air.

Kibou's closed eyes narrowed, and his drill spun faster. His stubby little flappers pumped harder, broadening to glorious flight wings. His drill reached max speed, and bright purple venom poured out of his mouth, spraying the arena. Kibou's fangs were clenched tight around Dorado, and with a heavy lurch the pair took to the sky.

Kazimir's Pikachu barreled across the arena, crackling with fierce lightning. It launched itself at Kibou, crashing into him and sending paralyzing static up one side of the chubby dragon. Kibou's perfectly aerodynamic form bent, and instead of his drill pointing upwards, it was suddenly aiming out over the ocean!

Kibou and Dorado were heading out to sea!

the take-off forces kyle to hold an arm over his eyes to keep himself from getting blinded by the sun as he follows it with his eyes from the ground up to the air.

there goes two of them, kyle supposes, and it would be rude to let them leave them forever without giving both the dunsparce and the pirate something to remember them by.

"give them a parting gift," he tells his mightyena.

coughing from the trail of poison that the dunsparce left, the mightyena quickly turns to the direction of the flying dunsparce. before they can get far, the dog throws up a blotch of toxic and spits it at the dunsparce/meowth duo.

As Angelo watches his-but-not-really-his cat fly off into the cosmos, he’s struck with the realisation that they were in trouble. [break][break]

For one, despite his seafaring ways Dorado did not in fact, know how to swim. But also, if the cat drowned then he’d probably be sent to the bottom of the ocean, too. [break][break]

“Well. Shit.” He mutters to himself, shielding a hand over his eyes as Dunsparce and Meowth disappear behind the glare of the sun. “Anyone know if a lifeguard's on duty?” [break][break]

Dorado was not one to go down without a fight, however. A claw plunges into his beard, rummaging through the wiry steel and pulling out a shiny coin. He puts it back. Then he pulls out a chunk of Poffin he’d been saving for later and eats it. Finally, his paw latches around what he was looking for: SEED BOMBS. [break][break]

Like cannonballs, they rain onto the battlefield when Dorado throws them with a wild aim. Explosions detonating around the Mightyena and Pikachu in a glorious display of grassy-firepower! [break][break]

Dorado saves a seed for Kibou. He needn’t say ‘open wide’.

as the pikachu's attack was true in its accuracy the power behind it was a bit too much for the little mouse pokemon and it found itself recoiling from pain as it watched the dunsparce fly off into the sky taking the meowth with it. the pikachu let out a salute to the brave travelers and hoped that they would have a safe flight. of course the mightyena spewing toxic words at them was clearly a problem and sparx could not let that stand. so he rushed over to the dog with his tail glowing as it hardened itself and slammed an iron tail into the canines side. if he could speak he would say something along hte lines of "take that you ugly fugger".

Kibou's botched launch sent him and Dorado out over the sea, leaving a toxic trail in the wake. As a parting gift, kyle lopez 's gross dog saw fit to projectile vomit a Toxic glob at the soaring pair.

"Quite an arc they've got there," Zac said, shading his eyes as he watched the flying fuggers soar out to sea. "I would have thought Kibou was better at keeping his angle straight. Maybe that trip to Ultraspace threw him off..."

Meanwhile, Kibou was battered, poisoned, and was facing more assault in the form of a vegetable force feeding. Dorado's fist found its way through his rubbery lips, and the Seed Bomb detonated in his mouth with a muffled WHUMP!
Kibou's mouth flew open with the force of the explosion, releasing Dorado from his lippy grip. Now the cat had nowhere to go but down.

Kibou crash landed in the breaking waves and disappeared below the surface with a fat splash.

Kibou was poisoned by Bravo's Toxic!
He was blasted by Dorado's Seed Bomb!
He dropped Dorado over the ocean!
He crash landed in the ocean!

he was pretty sure his mightyena would've tried to poison the steel-type too if it didn't rain on them with seed bombs.

with the carpet bombing alongside the pikachu rushing towards him, the mightyena goes for its last resort in these kinds of situation and erupted a protective shield around itself.

iron tail gets deflected. seed bombs from above explode around him and the pikachu, though none of the explosions ever touch him. he mostly gets a free round because of it.

with quick feet, the mightyena uses the cover of sands flying around to escape the pikachu and its vision.
