Exiting the other end of Meteor Falls, Adrian looked out over the coastal shore of Western Hoenn. I should bring Row out here sometime. But he was here to find out whatever had spooked those Sableye, drawn into the mystery of that peculiar night in Rustboro.

Doesn't look like anything's out here, though.

Asides the sheer cliffs and the sound of waves.

As he steps down the cliff's edge down towards the shoreline, he can see the first of many Tirtouga spawning, making the journey out to sea for the first time. The location is hidden away well enough that there aren't as many Wingull around to snatch them up before they make it, and even Adrian feels guilty thinking about claiming one for his own keeping. Let's see what else I can find.

Maybe there were some pearls or shells worth selling to the locals, or tucking away for his own collection.

Upon nearing the shoreline a small chunk of earth upended itself, revealing a Crustle that snips at Adrian warily as he trespasses. It's not often human visitors come here without some scheme or agenda that went against their own. Forced to mind his step at first, it becomes apparent he needs to fend off the creature as it relentlessly pursues him, snapping at him all the while. "Alright then."

A short while later he leaves the pokemon sprawled on its back for the Wingull, having battled and beaten it with the Squirtle at his side now. "Don't wander off too far, now," he warns the Squirtle as it rushes towards the sound of waves and smell of seafoam. Evening quickly waned towards twilight, and the moon began to show itself in the bruised skyline. I'd better hurry up this trip, then.

Pacing along the beach was a fruitless venture, but as he returned to the cliffs intending to scale them, Adrian came across an odd stone structure that stumbled towards him. With Squirtle still waddling at his side, he could make short work of this pokemon before it could run him off the ledge.

"Douse it, Squirtle." After a heated exchange and a few close calls, Squirtle stood bruised but victorious over the Stonjourner, which had collapsed against the path.

Lobbing a pokeball at the stone arch, it would be siphoned away in a flash of red and trapped their.
