Killian stood at the opposite end of the sandy arena with Alakazam at his side. Twin spoons in his hands, the psychic-type eyed his opponent from across the battlefield with intensity.

Razz Kingsman had taken Killian's lover away. Held her hostage and interrogated for secrets Alexandra Briarwood hadn't let slipped. If the public nature of this tournament hadn't called for restraint. They'd be having a very different battle right now.

Luckily, the Ranger would have no idea who Killian was. A friendly face with a smile.

Unlike the friendly face of his opponent Razz was much more neutral. He definitely didn't have the face that just read as super friendly, especially with his disfigurement. "Alright, an Alakazam," Razz comments as he tosses a pokeball between his hands before he tosses the ball. From it a very excited 'shiny Riolu.' [break][break]

"Sure, guess we'll start," It might seem like he was being arrogant by putting himself at a disadvantage, but the Riolu was a main contender for him for most of the Tournament so far. So why not? The Riolu starts things off with a NASTY PLOT as if thinking a way to take on their opponent.

Frankly, the Riolu against his Alakazam feels like an insult. An underestimation of Killian's skills as a trainer and Glimpse's power.

"Kill him, Killian."

A dark tongue whispered an order in a voice not his own. The corners of Killian's lips edged into a heavy frown. "He'd hardly suspect an attack against himself. Not here, not when the people watch so fervently." Fingers tensed, and he pushed the thoughts back down where they came from. Would the battle be like this the entire time? Fuck, he hoped not.

The admin whistled for Alakazam to step forward. Hands extended, her spoons tilted downward, and a rush of Psychic energy reached out for Riolu.

So the other was a whistler too, how about that. Part of him would feel a bit paranoid, but he was way too worn down by this part of the competition to really think about it. He gives a whistle order himself as the 'riolu' starts running at the Alakazam. [break][break]

There is a small satisfaction as the PSYCHIC attack doesn't even phase the 'Riolu' before she goes in for FOUL PLAY. The disguise as the Riolu keeping up since the previous attack didn't damage her.
