Mars is almost glad that they decided to push forward their battle, preventing the usual crowds that would come with such bouts. Some people gathered around, sure, but so far this may have been kind of a disappointing display in their eyes.

Both pokémon are CONFUSED, after all, and the Drizzile looks as if he would fall down with the slightest breeze after meeting the Oricorio’s intense REVELATION DANCE.

What comes next is even worse.

Out of all things, the stupid lizard attempts to use LIQUIDATION on the Oricorio, and it doesn’t go well at all…

He can’t control the attack, and with a powerful blast of water, he ends up propelling himself way past his opponent, crashing down onto the sand and rolling dramatically about six metres before finally coming to a stop, unconscious.

Through it all, Mars just watches without saying a word, silence overtaking their portion of the beach for a few long seconds.

”Well… That’s anticlimactic, huh?” And then, he laughs, because how could he not after all that?

Mars is someone who takes himself very seriously, but that doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate the fun moments in life.

Stormy gasps, loudly, with both hands to her lips at what comes next. The LIQUIDATION probably, almost certainly, should have done the Oricorio in. In fact, she flinches at the sight of it, only to watch as the Drizzile launches itself into the air with great force.[break][break]

It falls to tumble over and over in the sand, coming to a stop. Stormy glances between it and Mars, shock and amusement glowing behind ruby eyes.[break][break]

"Holy cow. That was... incredible."[break][break]

She glances up at the drones and their winking cameras. She bursts into tears practically in her laughter.[break][break]

"That one is definitely going on an instant replay! Hope you like the cameras, Mars!"
