"Alright; Eiscue, setup." Without any warning or indication, the sky begins turning to a misty grey before crystals that glisten like morning dew begin to HAIL down upon the field. They intermittently strike Adrian, Eiscue and those within the confines of the arena, though the latter seems unfazed as they bounce off its ICE FACE.

Thank heavens that isn't an Arctozolt. That would've been pretty rough.

ICE FACE saves their hide for now, but they will attack again, and Adrian is keen on shoring up their defenses. "Aurora Veil." Permeating the ongoing HAIL was a queer aurora that came from nothing, moving in vibrant spectrums that snaked like tendrils around Eiscue protectively. With the ice block eroded, Eiscue could see them.

Dazed by their beauty and splendor, it remained stationary.

Eiscue took the hit poorly, slugged over onto its side where it lay sprawled against the ground, staring resentfully towards its attacker. After a brief interlude the roiling hailstorm overhead spat out an oversized chunk of ice, a WEATHER BALL that came crashing down upon Dracozolt. Propping itself up, it smirked devilishly.

The pouring hail began clinging to its frigid features, the block of ice that had disappeared beginning to reform along its cranium.

To counter the attack Eiscue conjured up a wall of water; a violent tide surged outwardly, pushing back against the attack before overwhelming the draconic entity before it. Though the attack did little to deter their aggressor, it served a greater purpose as weather began to chill the waters, the SURF causing the Dracozolt's body temperature to drop drastically in the HAIL. That ought to slow 'em down.

Adrian watched on eagerly, tasting the possibility of a victory that had so far eluded him, in this, the tournament of champions.

Knocked back once more, it rises only for its ICE FACE to have redeveloped after dunking its head in the sloshing water as it chills into rime. For a moment it seems disoriented, but it simply struggles to balance itself as it stands tall, the bulky box of its cranium proving unwieldy. Wounded, it decides to try intimidating the enemy.

Beating its BELLY like a DRUM, the threatening gesture resonates loudly across the arena, and the pokemon seems stalwart as it stands beneath the aurora veil.

Once more the ICE FACE encasing its head is shattered, though sparing it the retribution inflicted upon it. Dracozolt seems pushed to the brink, and its body responds, coursing with ancient power that could threaten to topple them. But for a mercy, Eiscue may weather what the dragonkin cannot.

Once more the sky rains hoarfrost upon Dracozolt, augmented by a strange sphere of cyan energy that Eiscue releases into the hailstorm; WEATHER BALL causes the storm cell to sour, turning black and spitting out shafts of frost that fall like dulled spears upon the field. Adrian recoils to consider what enduring them must feel like.
