"In the Lab?" Temp half parroted, to make sure he had it right, head tilted like a confused dog. Honestly, he was very dog-like in personality, if one thought about it too much.

"Um... usually I just carry stuff around for people! Or hold stuff, or uh... like pull a lever if they need it. One guy needed a bunch of water types to cool off some reactor thing once, so he got me!" Even if he did have a love for a few cute land-based pokemon, he was still mostly a Water type trainer.

"Oh!" Temp had trailed off, but then perked back up when he remembered. "I like to come visit the lab pokemon! They work real hard for you guys, so I figured they could use a little treat!" Reaching into his back pocket, a little pack of folded up poke-treats was produced. As if on cue, a few of the braver Rotom willing to risk Lulu Flint's wrath floated over, rewarded quickly before floating away.

"Wanna try?" Eager, Temp held out the pack of half empty treats to Lulu.

Very suspicious, yet the truth. Most pokemon could kick Temp's ass before he blinked, but he had the distinct advantage of being able to speak to the people when it was needed.

Like he was right now. To annoy Lulu Flint.

"Aw, come on, not just one?" Most smart people wouldn't be so flippant or coy with Lulu. No one ever said that Temp was smart, though, and for some reason he had just decided he liked her. "A little praise from your boss for doing a good job? Makes you work harder, right? I bet it's the same for them."

The Rotom all visibly pouted and slumped before floating away, vanishing to go do whatever they needed to do. Temp just shrugged and put the treats away. He could always just feed them to his own pokemon later.

The conversation was kind of stalling, but that was okay, Temp could always fill the air for them both.

"What are you working on, Lulu?" He asked, hoping to goad her a bit. Usually when you asked scientists what they were doing, they got all excited, right?
