The subtle tension goes unnoticed, along with the brief look away. There’s no reason to think he’s hidden anything from her. She trusts him, completely, and she’ll continue to . . . until he proves otherwise.

Eva sighs, nodding in agreement, “Yes, yes we will,” it’s a resolute statement, committed to it in order to make up for the guilt she feels. Although dealing with Groudon was important, she feels they could have handled that without her. Maybe in Sootopolis she could have made a difference.

Shaking her head, Eva apologizes, regretting that she brought it up in the first place, “Sorry, we’re supposed to be relaxing and here I am bringing up all the stressful stuff,” she laughs lightly in dismissal.

She’s grateful he isn’t fazed by her bringing down the mood. It’s easy to settle back into the mood of sauna’s atmosphere, especially with the gentle kiss placed on her skin. It’s calming, as always. She leans her head back onto his shoulder, tilting it slightly to look up at him, “How do I feel? Like . . . right now?” after a moment of thought the shrugs her shoulders, “Happy,” it’s hard to be anything but, “How do you feel?”
