Killian stared at the bear, brow furrowed. It looked vaguely familiar. Like he'd a seen a picture in a book or video on the news.

"Kubfu, you say?"

After a moment, his shoulder shrugged as movement off in the distance caught his eye. "Uh, can't say that I do, but I can look into it for you?" he did gather intel after all.

A playful Rockruff met a painful fate at the hands of his Espeon. Eyes glowing like the night stars, she cloaked it in Psychic energy and flung the canine into the air. As it collided with the ground, Killian tossed a Poke Ball.

"If you're willing to pay, that is."

a cute little bonsly waddles out of a nearby bush, peering up at them with wide, curious eyes. perhaps even a TEARFUL LOOK.

this time, matias decides on a more peaceful approach, perhaps being a little swayed by the legendary next to him.

he pulls out a berry, rolling it to the bonsly. without arms to pick it up, it's left having to eat it immediately.

the kubfu tugs on matias' leg, asking for one, too.

"sure. how much we talking about?"

it's almost funny how, in a span of a month, matias has found himself indebted to rocket not once, but twice. he doesn't know of killian's affiliation, of course, but it doesn't matter much in the end.

what could someone like killian possibly ask from him?

the wild bastiodon is quickly taken care of. virizon's SCARED SWORD along with kubfu's sleepy CLOSE COMBAT downs the steel-type before a pokeball wraps around it.

A Ninetails catches his attention as it crosses into their path. Without so much as a word on Killian's part, the Ultra Beast behind him launches forward. Its needle pierced the flesh of the fox's side. The canine bellowed in pain as Bloodborne Leeched Life from his body. Shortly afterward, it pumped a Toxic poison into the creature's veins.

Killian tossed a Poke Ball moments later.

"What are you doing out here so later, Matias?"

the ultra beast makes quick work of the ninetales, almost scarily so, but it should come as no surprise. virizion handles the lileep with just the same level of efficiency, soon bringing it low with a SCARED SWORD that allows kubfu to easily finish it off.

an AERIAL ACE later, and it's down.

a pokeball is thrown.

not too bothered by the interruptions, matias looks over to ian.

"oh. i'm just out here for a walk. i have problems sleeping sometimes."
