Dimly lit by the light of the crescent moon, Killian ventured down Route 111 with a trio of Pokemon by his side. Loveless rested comfortably on his shoulder as always.

Floating ahead of him, acting as a guide, was the glowing red Minior gifted to him by Alexandra Briarwood. A fitting choice since tonight Killian hunted for its brethren.

The third and final Pokemon flew imposingly behind him. Naganadel hadn't been free from its Poke Ball in ages. It desperately needed some fresh air. Hopefully, Killian had no reason to call upon its power tonight, but you never knew.

Things change quickly in Hoenn.

virizion, however, decides it best to show a little flair and quickly dispatches of the sizzlipede. MAGICAL LEAVES that seem to glisten under the moonlight fly out towards it, hindering its vision which allows her to close the distance to slash her SACRED SWORD across it.

Two more Pokemon. Neither of which interests the admin. A shrug and step ahead leave both behind to do whatever they'd like.

"Minior." Killian stated plainly. "I'm collecting them for a personal project of mine." and what a project it was.

He notes the Virizion and dots are connected.

"You're MATIAS SILPH, aren't you? The new E4 member? I saw you on TV at the HST awards ceremony." and that would make him FERNANDO SILPH's brother.

There's a sudden itch at the back of Killian's mind. A dull craving that twitches his fingers but is swiftly pushed down.

matias never understood zac's fascination for minior but it's cute.

the question distracts him enough to allow an ICY WIND to spread across the vicinity uncontested. he tenses, turning to point over at the source: an aurorus who's just about to send an AVALANCHE their way.

virizion doesn't allow it to happen. she speeds across to ram her SACRED SWORD across one of its legs, taking it to the ground. a pokeball smacks against it after, capturing it.

"yep, yep. that was a fun event."

turning back to the stranger, he extends a hand.

"nice to meet you."

"Interesting guy."

Minior spots the Litten and is quick to act. Launching a barrage of stars with Swift. The distance between the pair is enough to dodge Litten's Double Kick with ease. Floating above the kitten, it Double-Edges hard atop its head. A Poke Ball slams into the side of Litten's staggering body shortly after.

"Yeah, it was." Killian agrees.

"I'm Ian, by the way."

ian. it's a name he'll make an effort to remember if for one reason only.

he looks up at the poison-type, gesturing at it.

"where'd you come across that?"

in the background, virizion rolls a little berry over to a wild larvitar, befriending it instead of knocking it out cold in one hit, which she definitely could've done.

Killian nodded, only half-listening to what the man had to say. It's not until he motions to Bloodborne that the admin zones back in.

"I found it in Meteor Falls." he stated plainly, "Back then, it was a Poipole though." and nothing more than a coward. Killian forced it to grow, evolve, and it was thankful for it.

He ignored the two Pokemon that crossed their path. Neither are Minior or worth his time to capture.

a thought crosses his mind and it's one that has him reaching for a pokeball. out comes his kubfu, tired and sleepy as he rubs his eyes, yawning.

"have you come across these before? they're called kubfu. i'm not sure how best to evolve them."

training them isn't the issue here. for whatever reason, kubfu still isn't evolving.

where ian ignores the two wild pokemon, matias zones in on one, and it's with after a quick SCARED SWORD that a pokeball is thrown.
