While SLEEP POWDER and DISABLE were probably enough to take down the Haunter that wandered into the path, Sénon was weary of trickery from the species due to growing up in Kanto.

Not to mention the present day Haunter he had was trouble enough. Just to make the capture easier amaterasu assisted with an INFERNO.

"Hm?" He turned back to Adrian once again showing a latency in registering what was said to him. "You say something Mal?"

"Never mind." If Senon was that absorbed in what he was doing, he probably didn't have any pressing matters to see to for the rest of the evening. While they pursued a Haunter, Adrian was free to explore, coming across another Golett in a timely manner. Releasing his Crawdaunt, formerly a Corphish during the Hoenn Star Tournament, he'd make short work of the little golem.

Chucking a pokeball at the mound of rubble it formed when it fell, Adrian turned his attention back to Senon, to make sure the Haunter hadn't escaped with his soul.

If Adrian had to choose what was weirder between Gothitelle and Jynx... He couldn't be too sure he'd make the right choice. But right now, staring at the Gothitelle before him, he felt uncomfortable. It was like a person... but not.

At least Mr. Mime looked too funny to be taken seriously. This thing eyed him up like he was less than he was, and attempted to pay him no mind. Shortly after his Crawdaunt was called forward, and it changed its tone.

Incidentally, it was powerless to stop them. Crawdaunt steamrolled over it, attack after attack bouncing off its dark aura before crushing it with a CRABHAMMER. When it tried to climb back to its feet, Crawdaunt KNOCKED it OFF balance. Eventually it submitted, and Adrian would be free to capture it. He was going to need some property to take care of all his pokemon, however...

A woobat swung low and flapped itself back high as it escaped into the ending afternoon.

Watching Adrian catch a pokémon whose species he couldn't name he wondered why his counterpart hadn't caught any of the three or four of its prevolves that they'd seen until now.

Now that he thought about it, chances were it was there parent Adrian was taking.

Keeping it to himself he wrote it off as the way of the world if the little one were lucky they'd find a trainer of their own and without a mother, they'd be all the more tougher all the more soon.

Turning his attention back to his pokémon he found the very woobat he'd paid no mind to being tag teamed by Inkay and Baby like the rest.

Baby even going as far as to present the beaten pokémon using his vines.

-aggressive behavior to monitor moving forward.

He caught the wayward bat to make sure it got some healing help.

Crimsen attempted to capture Woobat!

Taking the time to stretch Sénon watched a shuppet making its way by.

Someone somewhere would have jumped for joy at the chance to catch one of them.

-every pokémon species had a superfan or two.

Yet, Sénon didn't stand with the Shuppet stans so was just fine with letting it go.

Back at the cabin unfezant was pretty popular but usually served with a salad on a sandwich.

"Didja wanna stop and make some curry? We could use that leaf pile as kindling," he called out to Senon after hearing a stomach growl. Somebody was thinking about food. Adrian resumed what he was doing-sending his Crawdaunt after a Haunter-keeping an eye on the match between casual comments to his partner-in-crime.

After a fierce KNOCK OFF that sent a spell tag flying away with the wind, Haunter placed a curse on his pokemon. Both were doomed to faint, so Adrian tossed a pokeball at the Haunter before it could succumb. Crawdaunt was also withdrawn, replaced with a ravenous Sneasel.

Ralts have the uncanny ability to follow after him whenever he turns his mind's eye to Rowan. More specifically as he wanders the mountainside aimlessly, he and Senon investigating the area for wild pokemon, his thoughts are turning to his plans for the evening. He's considering going out for dinner, somewhere nice perhaps, something a bit swankier than their usual.

That's when he feels the tugging on his pants. He looks down to make sure it's nothing dangerous, or that he hadn't become snagged on some odd growth or rocky outcropping, when he notices the minty bowl cut of a Ralts sheepishly approaching him. "Uh, hey there."

He's content to let it follow him around, rather than force it into a pokeball. It remains glued to him, perhaps just enjoying the good vibes, before it intends to leave.

) Chimchar with no name was becoming his got-o pokémon.

Well, for the little applicable moments.

He didn't stake much on the prevolve beyond that battle with Laurence Anderson it had only been small battles before and since that Articuno bout.

Still, even baby steps could take a person around the world. Thusly, with a simple FLAMETHROWER Chimchar blew past Shedinja's WONDER GUARD, putting the buggy-ghost into a forced slumber.

They were supposed to be enjoying one another's company, but they were both so selfish when it came to capturing them that they might as well have been in separate parts of a multiverse considering how little they were interacting. In fact, Adrian had lost sight of Senon.

"Where the f#ck did he get off to so quickly?" While Adrian doubles back along his path, a Froslass attempts to lead him away from the path, perhaps into a trap of sorts. Nuh-uh. It remains ignored and forgotten, just like most spirits.

"Senon, where the f#ck didja go?" He raises his voice, that it might ring out over the mountain's slopes and reach him.

It unnerved him to see a Sableye in the wild.

Not since he'd lost the last one to that thing. He'd only just gotten over it without needing therapy.

Most of the ones he'd lost in that night had already been had their voids in the rank and file filled by another.

Sableye was one of the last to be succeeded.

FLAMETHROWER and NASTY PLOT were enough to secure victory, and this one he wouldn't be throwing at a gargantuan nightmare manifestation.

Peeking his head over from a higher part of the trail he carefully walked down the inclined hill to meet back up with Adrian. "I'm right here, you said 'Curry' didn't you?"
