Raziel is currently unsuspecting as he is talking down the hall with some drinks in hand. In his head he is going over the order he was asked for to bring to his father and the other scientist in the lab. For now unsuspecting of the good word that had been put under his name. Though every now and then red eyes scan back as he pauses to look around. The feeling of his getting followed nagging at him for a while now. [break][break]

But once more there is nothing, so he tries to ignore the feeling for now.

As it turned out, Razz Kingsman , or Raziel, was getting followed. Just not by a human.

Only after Raziel is sufficiently weirded out, by scuttling footsteps and the like, do they strike.

A Lopunny and an Florges. The Lopunny tries to grab him and restrain him, the Florges trying to shove an orange, of all things, in his mouth to keep him quiet. A modern day kidnapping. Both pokemon are scarred up, used to battle, and see it fit to drag the young man, should they succeed, down the hallways and towards the dorms.

Into one room most avoid.

The owner of which sits on his bed, shirtless, a large scar down his arm and chest dripping blood, staining a white towel as he presses it against the wound.

He would blink.

"What the fuck, guys?"

As Raziel would be shoved inside and freed.

Again he hears something and he's paranoid, he's about ready to grab one of his pokemon from his belt but the ambush happens quicker than he's prepared. And with the orders in hand he can't react to the two pokemon attacking. He tries to escape, cry for help but with the orange shoved in it's all muffled, and the Lopunny ensures that he can't get to his knife or his pokeball as he is restrained. [Break][break]

Panic fills his chest as he is dragged away by the two pokemon. He tries to do something to slow them but their grip is strong and in the end he's still just a teenager. [Break][break]

He recognizes the dorms but as he lives with his parents in an actual home he doesn't know who's room he's in. So he is still fighting back when he is freed but falls on his hands and knees when shoved toward their trainer. Fight leaves him quickly as he sees who he had been brought to. Chu-e Choi one of their beast and his panic could only grow as he seems to grow a little pale. [Break][break]

He wishes he could make a better impression but with him wet and smelling of mixed ice coffees from the orders he was carrying before he was ambushed, that seemed impossible. All he knows is that he is terrified, Umm... Hello uhh sir. " he maybe rattled but he knows his place well enough to be respectful, "C-can I go?" he prays for a yes as he hopes this was a mistake based off their reaction.

Raziel is ignored, Chu-e's eyes firmly on his pokemon.

"II told you two to grab someone from the lab, not some kid." Is spat out. Where most people wouldn't, knew better, Choi's pokemon huff. The Florges chatters out something and points to Razz Kingsman before putting her hands on her hips. He just sighs and rolls his eyes.

"Stop sniveling, kid." Is what he finally says to Raziel himself, narrowed eyes finding his. There is something like disgust there, but Choi was known to not play nice even with higher ups, so it shouldn't be surprising. For anyone who knew him, they would know he's assessing. "You really hang around the lab? Go wash up. I need help with something."

He jerks his head at his bathroom, attached. Couldn't have coffee covered hands for what he would be doing.

Otherwise, for the moment, Raziel would get no other instruction.

His heart can't help but feel as if it sinks to his stomach when ht seems to try and correct his pokemon for grabbing some kid rather than someone from the labs. Part of him feels he should correct him that he was from labs but maybe he could avoid being there.[break][break]

Red eyes looks down and nods when ordered to stop sniveling. Honestly he thinks he was doing pretty well concidering he was the one kidnapped here. But he nods at the question, "Y-yes I ummm... I'm the main assistant in Dr. pryde's lab," Raziel informs before he waits to be told what to do. Quite familiar with the feeling of just doing as told.[break][break]

"Yes sir," is all he gives before going toward the bathroom, washing his hands and face. Wetting a towel to pat some of the patches from the coffee spilt on him. It takes a bit before he's out of the restroom and is standing at attention again in front of it. His shirt now just wet from the water rather than coffee. For now awaiting orders

When Razz Kingsman comes back, Choi removes the towel he had pressed on his chest.

"Catch." One of those cheap, clear plastic sewing kits are tossed at him. It's been modified, a pair of pliers along with thicker thread and curved needles. Surgical. Some type of white pills in a smaller baggie in the corner.

"I can't get this shit out on my own." Where the towel had been pressed, it was clear to see what he meant. On top of the horrible and jagged cut up his arm and part of his chest, the largest part looks to have some type of blue barbs sticking inside of it. They're hooked in deep. It's hard to tell, but Choi's hands are shaking as he balls them into fists over and over. He's tired, the deep set of it around his eyes almost indistinguishable from deep bruises there.

Ahh so that's why he was brought here. With Raziel still nervous about being in the presence of one of the beast, he falters at the sewing kit being thrown at him, nearly dropping it. He's quiet as he looks at the wound now that the towel was removed. And while he would love to say his immediate thought was how to help, there is that lingering question of how it happened? Because if this was higher ups then... [break][break]

Maybe he shouldn't be the one to be doing this... [break][break]

"I... don't normally work on people," he comments nervously because he is afraid to mess up. Afraid the man in front of him would lash out if he did this wrong. Or afraid that if this was from higher command then he was going against that. Though he definitely felt bad, he glances over to the pokemon who brought him there before looking back to Chu-e, "Wouldn't it be better to have them take you to one of our actual medics?" he tries his best to make it seem like a suggestion rather than questioning him.

"They said they'd have to knock me out to get 'em out. Don't fuckin' trust 'em."

His eyes narrow a bit, his already angry scowl deepening as he looked at Razz Kingsman.

"Help me or get the fuck out, kid. I ain't got time for babies shitting their pants." Technically, Chu-e was offering Raziel an escape, a chance to run, but was he really? Raziel would be able to feel it, the shift. At first this had been an honest mistake. Now, Choi was really seeing what he would do. Testing him, almost.

Would he want to see what happened if he disappointed the Beast?

The Florges had since moved to flip through a magazine that was laying on a table, next to stacked cups of old takeout containers. The Lopunny was sitting in front of the door, legs crossed, a nail file in hand as he sharpened his claws. They certainly wouldn't be any help in making Raziel's choice.

It was barely noticeable but if Raziel was paying attention, how Chu-e's whole body gave a quick shudder. These barbs had poisoned him, the stupid bastard.

That seemed fair, he's always heard of problems one way or another within the ranks. Though at the offer to leave Raziel does take a quick glance at the door. Though the Lopunny was there, so he can't help but feel that even if he chose to leave it would mean bad news. "I can help," he decides, "just... give me a moment." [break][break]

Raziel grabs his phone and sends a quick message to his father from having been taken up by a Beast and that he would get back to the lab after. [break][break]

From there he would walk up toward Choi to take a look, seeing the bard and noting the way the older man shakes. Having a small expertise with poison pokemon for his own things he knows poison when he sees it. Though he can't tell exactly what it is. "You and your pokemon aren't going to attack if I bring out a pokemon right?" he questions feeling like he'd be much more comfortable if he had his own assistant out. "This looks dangerous to handle bare handed"

"Don't think you have the balls to do it, anyway." Choi leans back, lets Razz Kingsman get a closer look at the wound. It's still seeping, fresh enough, but for the most part it just looks raw and angry. There is more than one barb, a whole slew of them, at least six wedged into the meat.

All the permission that Choi was going to give Raziel, it seemed.

But, something subtle in his mood had shifted, and Choi's scowl deepens. Maybe Raziel had said something? Choi was well known for his short and sudden temper... so honestly, it could have been any number of things.

"I don't need balls I need an assistant," Raziel comments back, the metaphore completely going over his head. An apparent problem of his that seemed to grow with his lack of non-work interaction. It also made it difficult to see the change in mood of the beast in front of him, so while he is weary it's no more so than before. All he thinks is that the other didn't say no.[break][break]

So he would bring out a Luxury Ball and from it his Espurr comes out besides him. The wide eye cat glancing around the room at the unfamiliar room seeming at an odd mix of awe and indifference somehow. He really had a weird one. Raziel snaps his hand twice to get their attention, "Focus," he tries and it gets the espurr looking passed him again at least. "Grab the pills from the table there and see if you can't get me a wet towel from the bathroom," the young scientist points and the espurr nods as it starts to waddle to there. [Break][break]

Meanwhile Raziel looks to the medkit given to him for a pair of tweezers.

Choi's eyes slide idly to the Espurr. His lip twitches; the urge to smile suppressed by sheer will. Even when he was more fucked up and deranged, as he was back then, Chu-e did still have a huge soft spot for cats.

The 'med kit' that Choi had given Razz Kingsman had all the basics, including tweezers. As long as it wasn't something super specific, like a syringe or a scalpel. More the kinds of things the average person could get their hands on. The Espurr, too, would have an easy enough time finding what it was looking for. Even if he was built up as some terrible force in the organization, Choi was, at the end of the day, still human with human habits.

A few beads of sweat had started to collect on his brow, which Choi stubbornly wiped off with his hand as he grit his teeth.

"Get on with it, then."

“This takes a steady hand,” the ‘don’t rush me’ is never said because Raziel knows better. He made sure his voice is respectful as he says it as he knows the rumors of the Beast, and he doesn’t want to step on any of their toes. [break][break]

With the use of the tweezers the boy begins removing the bards slowly, being careful not to have them dig into the skin more. While he seems to carelessly toss them to the side Espurr is already back, using PSYCHIC to hold the bards up as the cat jumps to the bed and seems to offer the wet towel to Chu-e. [break][break]

“Bring out Slowking,” he would order after and Espurr gives a nod, and so long as neither Chu-e or his pokemon would interfere a Galarian Slowking would come out of one of his Pokeballs. “May I ask who did this?”

Chu-e is quiet, observing, only the slightest twitch of his fingers or occasional grunt at the deeper barbs being pried loose. A man built from pain who knew to endure. Shame that would be part of his downfall in a few years, when regular torture methods just weren't good enough.

"A pervert." The word is said with a curled lip, disgust, like it's toxic sludge sliding off his tongue and not a word. Rocket was many things but Chu-e was not all of them. Even someone like him had lines they wouldn't cross.

He offers no resistance to the Slowking. His pokemon were still out and even wounded Chu-e could defend himself. Plus, he stood by his words earlier - he didn't think that Razz Kingsman had the balls to even try attacking him.

"Why's it matter who did it?"
