Apparently there was a need for some extra pokemon in some of the stations. So a notice was put out if Rangers could spare some of their time out in the wild to capture some pokemon for later use as most stations like to be prepared. As well as have their rangers prepared with the proper pokemon for the situation. And of course Razz was always someone willing to help. [break][break]

Besides that, he'd be lying if there wasn't some ulterior motives here. So for now he sat at the agreed meeting place to meet up with on of his fellow rangers. Razz is sure he's heard the name before but seeing how wild the HST was he couldn't recall the face to the name. For now he'll wait though playing a game of fetch with his Eevee. Both Salem and the eevee seeming getting into competition of who could catch the ball better.

Why is he roped into the most mundane of day-to-day tasks? Give him a case to investigate, ask him to settle a swarm of invasive pokemon or take down some troublemakers - Sure, those require effort but it at least occupies his mind better than having to run after wily pokemon and catch them. But his problems don't just end there, because they never seem to be content with being just that.

It's not so much a greeting as it is a way to catch his supposed partner's attention. Yuna, on the other hand, makes somewhat of a grand entrance, cutting between both Meowstic and Eevee to snatch the ball right out of the air. Her tails flick in contempt, her chest puffed as she drops the object right before the duo, earning herself a sigh as her trainer gently places a fist on top of her head.

"Play nice. We're working with them today." And he would really prefer if he doesn't have to sort out any cases of fires due to the Ninetail's competitive nature. "Guess you're all set to head out, Kingsman?"

Both the Eevee and Salem are in shock as suddenly the Ninetails dashes in and catches their ball. While Salem seems more nonchalant about it the eevee is a different story as it seems to march up to the ninetails and pout about how it had their ball. Seeing the pout Razz whistles and Salem drags the upset Eevee back with Psychic and Razz pets his head. "Its just a toy," he comments as he pets the eevee who still blows a raspberry at the ninetails. [break][break]

Because of change in movement though he does notices the seeds in the grass and Razz whistles for his Eevee to attack. Get the little guy focused on something else as they use SHADOW BALL to attack the EXEGGCUTE before the younger ranger tosses a pokeball, "All set," he'll tilt his head at him, "We met each other before right? The Tournament?"

Yuna is just as quick to retaliate with a raspberry of her own, ultimately still standing triumphant over the runt when it comes to possessing the ball. But her victory comes at the price of earning herself an eyeroll from her trainer, a little brush of her tail snaring her attention and dragging it right towards the presence of a wandering Phantump.

Razz is forced to taken in a deep breath as the ninetails uses their attack. He doesn't favor being partnered with someone who favors a fire pokemon, but he still feels he's made leaps of progress than what he used to be. Though he subconsciously steps away as the ninetales does it's thing while Salem himself climbs on top of Razz to purr and help make sure he was keeping calm. [break][break]

That's when a Jynx appears and the Eevee is quick to ask for permission, seeming to want to prove that they can do better than that silly little ninetales. Razz just gives an amused chuckle and gives a whistle for the order. Starting off with a SWIFT at the psychic pokemon before he continues with a follow up SHADOW BALL allowing Razz to try and capture them. [break][break]

"Yeah well generally people don't like their stuff being burnt," he attempts at a joke as he tries to abide by his old captain's advice of trying to be more friendly with his fellow rangers.

Years of being undercover has taught him that observation is one of the handiest skills you can possess. Deep breaths and steps back point to an aversion to fire, whether due to traumatic history or simply unexplained paranoia. However, prying into such matters doesn't suit him - He can listen but he isn't quite as capable at handing out advice where needed.

All it takes is one quick call for the Ninetales to prance away from the sassy, lost eevee. And in turn, Lykaios finds himself placed between trigger-happy arsonist and pyrophobic ranger - Hopefully the extra distance would be something that would help put him at ease.

This time it seems that the Ninetales has grilled herself a live Gengar, flaying it from the shadows with a healthy heap of fire. Though the ghost is more-so bothered by the heat than fully scorched, she doesn't retaliate, merely reaches to pat her head.
