It had been a while since he had gone out and actually hunted for pokemon to expand his collection, mostly because his collection was becoming quite unruly with eighty of them. Granted, most people kept theirs in a pokemon center rather than letting them roam around their camp as if it were some kind of wild life refuge. Andy liked his haunted camp however.

With Hoenn seeming to only descend more and more into chaos from where he was standing, it was decided that there was something to be said for strength in numbers. And who knew, maybe one of those unown would show up. In the days since he had felt a little guilty for having given away his family heirloom unown to Ruby Walker , but it was what it was.

Just like that mistake, Andy hoped that for this outing he wouldn't be ambushed by a pissed pokemon, or discover a corpse. It used to be he had to battle boredom with his activities, now he was getting a little tired of the constant escapades. As he wandered through Mt. Pyre, the rustling of leaves told him he wasn't alone. So who was it? Person or pokemon?

Part of him, wondered why that wasn't a question that was asked more often. He had seen the HNN article. He couldn't remember all the names of his Rescuers listed Within. Although he did recall that he did actually know a few.

It's glow was hard to miss in the wild environment. Gesturing to his old friend Epitaph, he readied the well overused hypnosis. That wasn't the only Ghost type wandering around however. Luckily, there was a Silph of all things watching his back.

his attention's soon pulled away by the wild honedge as well who does its best to sneak up on them. thankfully, his four ghosts spot it out before it has a chance to SLASH at matias.

gengar intercepts, grabbing the honedge with both hands before sending a strong SHADOW BALL right against its blade, slamming it into the ground.

a pokeball captures it soon after.

All of the haunters and gengars had to be drawing some attention, especially considering his was miscolored. A gastly slid up towards the group and their trainers, allured by the sight of so many of his brethren. Andy glanced between the gathered pokemon and finally Matias. These were his favorite, so he had to... With a nudge to Epitaph, hypnosis flashed again and another pokeball spent.

damn. that gastly would've been a prime catch for the black market. not that matias endorses things like those, of course, but it's still a thought that crosses his mind.

"yeah. i think my group came across a swarm of boldores. can't seem to remember for sure, though."

he can't even remember the BLUNT FORCE the EXPLOSION caused, nor the PROTECT that broke under its strength.

maybe it's for the best.

A swarm of boldores? Now that was something much more sensible to find in a cave than a Type: Null. That thing had been a monster. Boldores we're kind of cute on the other hand. Probably wouldn't kill anyone or anything. A xatu flew overhead as a litwick wandered around deeper in the trees, it's flame giving it away.

matias suddenly remembers that he needs to catch the litwick. he was just about to ignore it, too! but he sees its flickering flames just in time to point at it, sending his gengar off that way to take care of it.

"that's terrible to hear."

soon enough, the gengar comes back with litwick in tow. a pokeball saves it from fainting.
