Normally this would be a golden opportunity. But between the black market kadabra and his departed companion Karma, Adrian couldn't bring himself to capture this Alakazam knowing what he would likely subject it to.

...Alright, I'll bite.

Adrian comes across a Golett, sending out his Cloyster, Cobalt. Its skill far outstrips the Golett, but an unexpectedly sluggish and seemingly docile reaction causes them to lower their guard. When the next array of icicle spears fire off, a devastating focus punch nearly puts Cobalt out of commission, retreating into its shell.

Protecting itself from Golett's next attack, Adrian is able to poise himself to hurtle a pokeball that lands squarely on the unsuspecting Golett, siphoning it into the device. It wriggles around a few times before settling.

"That one had some gusto, eh?"
