Jessie thought about their competition, since she was one behind him. How could she twist the odds in her favor? A small smirk crawled onto her lips as she spotted the GRUMPIG, the black pearls adorned on its body gleaming in the light.

"So, we never set terms for this competition we're having, yeah?"

Releasing her TORTERRA, who took all the space around her, she commanded a RAZOR LEAF attack on the GRUMPIG before initiating another toss.

"How about we say winner buys loser drinks? Deal? I think that sounds like a fair trade," Jessie said with a smile, twisting her pink hair around a finger.

There is something to be said about childhood friendships here; a commentary on how oftentimes, these sorts of relationships can preserve certain behaviours that have long since been left behind otherwise. Mars may be a wealthy, successful, and well-respected philanthropist, but when he’s with Jessica Manner, the urge to tease her is too great to resist.
