Amber's eyes were alert, focused on any stirring in the grass for a flit of wings or a darkened silhouette. She was getting better at finding wild Pokemon; putting down her phone had helped incredibly in that department, as had wearing more sensible shoes. Even so, she found herself a bit jumpy in the hillside, as if something might startle her at any moment.

"What the--!"

Or someone.

While she didn't know his name, Amber wouldn't forget this geek any time soon. "Are you stalking me?!" she balked at Henry Driscoll, hands on her hips. "What the hell are you doing here? Where do you get off, following some random celebrity around? Do you people ever take a day off?!" Only then did Amber's gaze turn to the pokeballs in his hands.

Oh. He was hunting for wild Pokemon too, most likely.

Well. This was embarrassing.

"...Ha. Ha. Kidding. Did you want to maybe uh, go looking for Pokemon together?" Please say no, she begged internally.

God, how Amber wanted to curl up and die.

I'd no idea," he quips coolly, canting his head slightly. Not far behind him, a Toxtricity ascends the hill, the curve of his mouth twisted in a smug smirk as he comes to stand at his trainer's elbow.

You needn't invite me to join you simply because you've misread my intentions, nor would I wish to share your company if the proximity of others is likely to induce such anxiety in your responses," Henry replies, sliding his hands into his pockets as he strides past the young woman, the hint of a smile tugging at the edge of his mouth.

Amber stuck her tongue out at the Pokemon in kind, rolling her eyes. Rude.

"It's whatever. I don't care," she said off-handedly, her Umbreon following faithfully at her heels. "Stay or don't. But if you want to chase off admirers or haters, by all means, I won't stop you."

An impish giggle rang out from the darkness, catching Amber's eye. A Hatterne? Her DISARMING VOICE instantly made Lucifer's black fur bristle, the Umbreon gnashing his teeth in answer. "Get her, Luci," Amber commanded, and the Umbreon leapt forward with a BITE.

She allowed herself a smug little grin as the Psychic-type found herself into one of Amber's Pokeballs, rocking back and forth with irritation on the ground as Amber said, "We'll be fine either way."
