Stormy sighs heavily, hands on her hips. She seems to be manifesting some sort of irritable expression, her brows halfway between fury and disgust. She even opens and closes her mouth just enough that it looks as though she might be literally chewing on her thoughts, and the thought in itself was bitter and unappetizing.

God, she hated swimming.

But unfortunately, there was next to nothing she could do or control by being airborne or on the shore. The problem was in the water, not out of it. Although she was thankful for 's swimming lessons, she couldn't honestly say she looked forward to water lapping at her neck. What an unbelievably dreadful feeling.

"Hey, rookie! You ready to get your feet wet? Chop, chop, we've got work to do!"

Her tone is mostly playful, with only a slight bite to it because of the stress of the situation. She tosses out a Pokeball ahead of her, and it snaps back to her palm just as a hazy white light manifests one of her Seismitoad. The Pokemon sinks to the bottom of the ocean for a second before slowly rising back up with the inflation of her air bubbles.

Pace was a sunshine boy in every sense of the word, both soaking it up and emanating it. He'd spent his childhood on beaches and in the warmth of summer, grazing knees outside and climbing trees only to get closer to the sun. He'd been no different as an adult, and the search for sun often meant a proclivity for water. He loved to swim - it felt like flying, in a way.[break][break]

Though his last mission that had occurred at the waters edge with had ended quite fruitfully indeed, today was about business. Corsola maybe getting eaten, make it stop, get paid. Simple as![break][break]

He throws out his own pokéball as his partner for today greets him - and not just any partner, but a member of the elite four themselves. His Dracovish appears and slowly heads to the ocean, and Pace follows at it's speed.[break][break]

"I'm on it, boss" He grins, patting Charmian's side like a sack of rice. "Ready for a little swim?"
