Genocide
The most Hoennian shit we've ever done. [player]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/850907874325823529/866443754243227658/Shin_Megami_Tensei_IV_OST_-_Aboveground_Urban_Area_B_-_256_kbps.mp3[/player] He snaps back to reality in a frozen hellscape.
"Shit." He utters, eyes wide open as he lays in the snow. He doesn't recognize these skies. Nor this frigid cold.
Even the peaks of Mt. Silver hadn't been this frigid. For all its layers, his uniform was still meant for a tropical environment. It was doing jack-crap in this cold.
He springs to a sitting position as he hears Eva Morales and freya morningstar move, before a loud roar drowns both them and even his thoughts as the entire realm quaked.
What the hell was that?!
"Shit!" He hissed yet again, banging his fist against the sand as he kicked up to his feet. "Do those machines even work?!"
This was not what he had hoped for when he turned on the machine. In fact, this was exactly why he had bothered with using the machine. He had hoped they could have a measure of control on when to teleport, if not where. A choice, maybe a peak into their destination as well...
No such thing.
"Tch!" Damn it all. Nothing for it- he should've known things wouldn't go as he hoped.
Quit whining about things you cannot control, look around, take stock, and plan ahead. Keep your head together, and don't let fear control you... these were the lessons he had learned while risking his life in Hoenn. In the crack between space and time. In the falling city of Sootopolis. Underneath the Accursed Church.
Deep breaths... And go.
Their surroundings weren't entirely alien. Frozen, yes, but entirely human as well. The signs of civilization were clear to the eye- ruined as they may be. Buildings and machinery, corpses human and pokemon alike, all littered their surroundings, both close and far.
And their goal- almost their goal, that is, is there as well.
Dead. Slain. His heart sinks.
Black-scaled. Not their Rayquaza. It does not make the risks taken feel like any less of a mistake, but at the very least, their Rayquaza may yet live, elsewhere.
With that Rayquaza dead and something coming for them, there was nothing left for them in this hellscape.
And yet... his mind kept going back to the dead Rayquaza. It... and Tapu Lele. Her... and kyle lopez.
"Major." He called out to Eva Morales suddenly, his voice raising over the blizzard around them as his brows lowered, expression sharpening as he gathered his guts. "Can a dead pokemon be stored in a pokeball?"
The only thing her answer would change- was whether he needed to drag the giant corpse back or not.
"GARO!" He boomed. His words rang, and shortly after, the snow nearby began to rise, the Mega Orbeetle's overgrown dome rising in the air, shaking off snow as its eyes glowed blue. "Something's coming! Give me an estimate! From where, and how long?!"
The youth's eyes never left the Black Rayquaza as he slowly took off one of his gloves, his palm beginning to glow a neon magenta.
They only had this one shot. He was taking that bloody thing back, one way or another.
-Doug awakens, analyzes, determines his course of action. -Doug asks Eva if a pokemon carcass can be stored in a pokeball. -Mega Orbeetle awakens, begins analysis of his surroundings through his radar. Radar Range according to Pokedex: 6 miles, prior to Mega Evolution. -Doug prepares the healing scales. -Doug's bringing that Big Black Rayquaza with him one way or another.
