[attr="class","mon"] [attr="class","monlyrics"]Culture opens the sense of beauty. [attr="class","monbody"]By the time Aurelie made it to the main plaza, carefully stepping where the ground was solid and stable, the Kindlers' dance was already well underway. The red-haired smith knew very little about the Kindlers or their place in Hoenn culture and history, but she was always excited to see artistry wrought with fire or with Fire-type Pokemon. She did wonder, though, why the fire performance was being held in broad daylight, rather than at twilight or past nightfall, when the glow of the flames would be even more dazzling amidst the deepening darkness. Here, under the blazing SUNNY DAY-enhanced sunlight, even a huge bonfire would look pallid in comparison. But here they were, nevertheless. I guess mine is not to reason why, mine is just to... She chuckled mentally, searching for something appropriate to rhyme with "do and die" to complete the already mangled quotation. Watch and sigh, maybe? Sure, let's go with that.Craning her head to see over the crowd, Aurelie watched the performance with a happy sigh. The seven Kindlers danced together with graceful choreography, their brilliant red and orange costumes fluttering with every swaying, undulating movement exactly like licks of flame themselves. Each dancer carried a lit torch or other flaming accessory, which they would toss high into the air to each other or above their own heads, or which they would swing and weave about to create a variety of flowing, geometric patterns, from fiery circles and figure-eights to elaborate flowers and outlines of popular Pokemon, that glimmered in the air in shining golden streaks of light. Their own Pokemon lit up the stage with flickering flames and plumes of smoke, adding to the drama of the dance. It was indeed wonderful to watch. Aurelie clapped and cheered, letting out a whoop of delight as the Kindlers continued their dance. The people around her seemed equally appreciative, applauding and shouting approval particularly when a dancer executed a showy or complicated-looking move. Hoping for a closer view of the spectacular dance, she maneuvered carefully through the crowd, trying to find a better vantage point. Her shoulder bumped sharply into someone else's, and she turned to apologize. She was slightly surprised to find she actually somewhat recognized the person she'd jostled: Cillian Quinn, though at the moment she only thought of him as the man she'd seen earlier drinking lemonade at the Fiorelli Floristry stall with the elegant florist. He too appeared to have been threading through the crowd to watch the dance. "Oh, sorry about that," she exclaimed apologetically. "I should be more careful where I'm going. The heat and festivities are certainly making me more muddled than usual."[attr="class","montag"]Open for interactions
