annalise hangs back to let illeana reyes and the others work their magic on the barrier. the professor leaves them — or at least her — in the dark about whatever she's planning to do, aside from asking the passengers with unown to use hidden power on the invisible wall ahead of them.

it's more power than she's ever seen at once, all concentrated on one spot on the barrier. it doesn't break like she expected it would, it blooms — scenes bleed in front of them. like a proper twenty-something, her phone is in hand, recording, before the last glimpses of other worlds fade into nothing.
