With more rumors going on about how body parts of pokemon would bring you luck, or some other bullshit superstition like that, there was a rise in hunts. While basic trainers would try to just battle a Sharpedo and try and win one fairly others took it too far. Hunting them, beating them and take out all teeth, leaving the sharpedo helpless. [break][break]

And this is a time where Rangers had to be on the look out, and he does invite Eris along to it. See if she might like the whole Ranger thing, stray her away from other activities. Riding his Sharpedo with Salem hanging onto him he does look back to the other. "How you holding up? Does the Life Jacket fit alright?"

Ah right she wanted to play pirate with this seeing the crime and such. Problem was he knew very little about stereotypical cartoon pirates, and was more familiar with the down to earth criminal kind. But he could speak a broken language. He did it all the time while he was undercover. Salem, who was wearing a miniature pirate hat, did he steal that from angelo vestri's meowth? Started pointed in a direction as if sensing something.

"Seems like uh....." he could do this outside of his acting he swears, "Firstmate Salem has detected something," he says before he taps his Sharpedo to go in that direction, from afar they would notice a small boat, and in a net would be a knocked out Sharpedo. Seems like they found a target, Razz tells Salem to join Eris before he looks back as the Cat would jump to join Eris.

"I'm going to cause a distraction, I want you to try and free the Sharpedo," he orders dropping the act as things needed to be done. Duke dives under the water as Razz puts on his goggles and water breather as the come from below the boat. After Duke would ram the boat with a TAKE DOWN to shake the small thing. The fishermen stopping their tugging of the wild sharpedo as they try to look around.

Is what she thinks until Razz mentions parting ways. She's a little nervous to be left to her own devices but she's sure that whatever comes their way, Reiner and she will be able to handle it.

As soon as the boat rattles, she releases Thalassa into the water, keeping her distance as she tries to work on freeing the closest Sharpedos from the net. Razor sharp cuts tear through the ropes, allowing enough wiggle room for the smallest of them to slip out.

"The loot!" one of them yells as they have to grab onto the ship as once again the boat was hit from below. One of them leaves the other two to focus on what's going on below as he moves toward the net to see some rut trying to take their rull. "Oi buzz off we caught those fair and square!" he yells before he sends out an Eelektross to try DISCHARGE on the group. Meanwhile Salem does cast a LIGHT SCREEN for them, mostly to protect Eris.[break][break]

Meanwhile one of the other two sends out a Kingdra, the other would have throw something out though Duke finally launched up from the water and Razz took action to slam them onto the deck allowing Duke to handle the Kingdra.

Though she'd once been uncertain, there doesn't seem to be a shred of panic in her voice as she looks them dead in the eyes. Now that they've started it, there's no stopping the storm that breaks loose the moment they turn their attention towards Captain Halla and her gang.

The ocean churns, then slowly begins to pick up into little droplets of water that swirl through the air. A Springtide Storm rises, quickly surrounding the enemy gang and preventing them from making any escape.

Razz is able to cuff the guy he knocked down to a piece of the ship, making it so he couldn't grab any of his pokeballs while the other man came to try and tackle the Ranger. Though not much was able to be done as the boat shifted and waved back and forth as pink swirls of a familiar SPRINGTIME STORM was used. "Salem?" he questioned thinking the cat had done this, but it was enough to distract the other sailor as Razz grabbed his baton and struck them to the deck.[break][break]

Meanwhile on the other "Tsh you're domain," the sailor scoffs at the ridiculous notion as he has to bring his arms up against the blinding Discharges "Kid yer in our-" he was about to make a comeback but the weird pink storm admittedly caught him off guard. As Reiner plays defensive with his Discharge and Springtime Salem jumps onto the deck before using DISARMING VOICE on the man to knock him back. [break][break]

The blue meowstic looks toward Eris with a good job paw up.

"Oi oi oi no need for that now!" the man explains as suddenly the brat pulls a weapon on him. He's a petty criminal at best got his pokemon and his mates, he doesn't bring weird shit like crossbows to a fight. The Eelektross also stands down being out numbered by the pokemon. [break][break]

After Razz hand pinned down another of the goons and his Sharpedo is taking the Kingdra Razz goes to the other side of the boat to see how Eris was doing. "Eris put that down," Razz would order as he would use another pair of cuffs he hand to grab the man's wrist. [break][break]

"Yeah tell the runt! She's crazy!"[break][break]

"No..... its just against protocol," he informs showing an indifference to the weapon for now. Doesn't take long to guess on who would've give a child that, but better than an actual gun he supposes.

"You're the ones crazy for exploiting those Sharpedos just to make a quick buck." She snaps back, resting her hand on Reiner's mane as he gently nudges her. "Could've just waited for them to lose their teeth naturally and collected those instead."

"Do you know how long that takes!?" the pirate grumbled but seeing as the kid wasn't putting the crossbow down its probably best he doesn't take it too far. Razz just rolls his eye at the two, not approving of either of their actions. [break][break]

"You can explain it to the Rangers back in Slateport," Razz says being the professional here as he calls over Salem to gather the trio and keep guard of them. There is a roar of victory on the other side of the small boat as Duke ended up victorious, a knocked out Kingdra knocked up on board. [break][break]

For now he does look over toward Eris, "Lets not bring that next time on a Ranger mission alright? Very much not allowed," he scolds slightly more because he doesn't want to have to deal with having to cover the reason for such a weapon. "Now... want to help me figure out how to drive this thing?" because he has never driven a boat like this before.

It sticks to her like a mantra, one etched by the scars of Kanto. And very recently now have those wounds been reopened, especially considering the hostility many of the grunts have shown her.

"Anyways..." Quick to switch up her tune, Eris' attention flicks to the controls, her fingers tip-tapping every surface as she ponders a little. "I think... vaguely remember this..." A flick of the switch and a turn of the key makes the engine roar to life, her hands resting upon the helm as she gently rolls the wheel around. "Uhuh... and then this way..."

Finally, the boat starts moving and she's more than happy to be in charge.
