Most of the fish in the area might've realized and darted off, he figured, which meant they might finally be truly alone out here. It's almost worrying, realizing anything could happen out here. But then you realize how much anything means.[break][break]

Adrian shimmies over to Rowan, running a finger down the length of his spine, tracing the bumps all the way down while his eyes follow and his breath hitches. Only when he pulls away do his eyes try and find Rowan's own to match them.[break][break]

Adrian brings a palm up to their shoulder, smoothing down the length of their arm, playing his hand rather bluntly.[break][break]

"Maybe we could... take a break?"[break][break]

Casting his line out farther this time, he tries to reel it in erratically, to simulate a wounded animal or something of the sort. Even just catching the attention of a fish with the sudden movements would be enough to lure something in, he hoped.[break][break]

Adrian fights it for a solid three minutes before bringing it close enough for him to see what's thrashing about beneath the water's surface, fighting him for the bait...[break][break]
