pediatrics. annalise loves working with kids, but there's something terribly sad about the circumstances. her superior navigation skills lead her toward a directory on the wall, finger pointed at the laminated surface as she skims down the list. [break][break]
"i thiiink ... " more expert ranger skimming. "we're looking for the fifth floor."

she takes him toward the elevator, though she has much more difficulty accomplishing that than finding the directory. mauville general hospital is lowkey labyrinthian in design. or at least to her.[break][break]

arceus, annalise's smile wavers as they enter the room. two kids, still baby-faced, stare at them with uncertainty and distrust. one of them holds her ponyta plush tighter. they're so young.
