Eva grins as she places another ornament on the tree. She figured that would get his attention, “Yeah, I hear it’s pretty big too!” lots of room for the Hoenn legendary to soak in foreign lava pools. Hopefully the two would stay out of trouble so they could have a nice vacation.

“Ok! I’ll request my time off too . . . I’m sure priam conrad can handle the day to day of the lab while I’m gone,” nothing too crazy, of course. Basically making sure it didn’t burn down and that people knew she’d be out of the office for a while.

The tree was starting to look rather full. Eva struggled to place the last ornament from the box on a taller branch by standing on her tippy toes.

The final piece of the tree was the star. Eva had it adorned with megastones to give it some extra flare. Of course, it paled in comparison to the ring on her finger, “You do the honors, my love,” she reaches out to hand Matias the star.

again, feeling like it's undeserved, he hesitates for a moment when she offers him the star. but he takes it, then, reaching up high, he places it atop the tree, finishing off their decorations.[break][break]

“Of course!” Eva assures him he really does deserve to put the star on top of the tree. There’s nothing more important in her life than him.

Eva stands back with him and admires their creation, “Looks great!” she slips a hand around his waist, leaning into his side to rest her head on his chest, her gaze flicks up to smile up at him, excited to spend the rest of her life beside him.
