Eva expects some push back, so Matias’s understood comes as a little bit of a surprise. She feels a pang of guilt for probably over-reacting to the suggestions. But. . . she couldn’t help it. There was a strong protectiveness she’s felt towards t eh serpent since their bonding. Perhaps that was natural. It extended beyond physical protectiveness and into the realm of emotional well-being. At times she could still feel the dragon’s fear and fury that lingered from its time in the Icelands, helpless and waiting to become the Kyurem’s next feast.

She watches Matias move off the path, collecting the Hatterene as she follows, “I’m sorry,” she sighs when she catches up to him, hunching her shoulders as the Roserade trots behind her. It gets distracted by a Lickilicky that CHIPS AWAY at her. The grass-type huffs, covered the pokemon in STUN SPORE before Eva tosses a pokeball at it, “It’s just, Rayquaza is bonded to Freya to in a sense. Their debts are paid to each other but Rayquaza trusts her,” she shakes her head, “I couldn’t ask them to betray her,” in addition to it being wildly outside of her rather tight moral boundaries.

It’s a bit dramatic, but they have crossed too many lines and have tested her patience enough. Eva watches her Roserade fiddle with a Dunsparce, showering it with STUN SPORE before she tosses a pokeball it’s way.

“Hm, I guess it’s getting late,” she muses while retrieving the pokeball, “Yeah, let’s head home.”
