Remiel takes a moment to brush himself clean of dirt and dust as they proceed into the forest further. "Thank you for the assist back there," He remarks, casting Matias a glance. He'd seen the man's ability to manipulate the earth before, from a distance and on video. But never this close. "What's GROUDON like?" The prince casually inquires as a PAWNIARD blocks their path.

Before it can dart forward and SCRATCH any of them, however, it is easily descended upon with a FLAMETHROWER from the ferocious Salamence above. Remiel then casts a Luxury Ball at it as they approach. He'll smoothly bend down to retrieve it as they move on.

it was remy's quick call that allowed matias to intervene the way he did in the first place, so really, the gratitude is split evenly.[break][break]

the inquiry into groudon does not surprise him nor does it bother him. after the battle of littleroot, he expects it often.[break][break]

"kinda quiet, i guess. keeps mostly to itself until it wants something."[break][break]

a nidoqueen's TACKLE slams into the rampardos as the two engage in a battle of strength. the rampardos trumps it eventually, sending it packing.[break][break]

"Quite the same, actually," Remiel responds, noticing a distinct tail approaching from the bushes nearby. He could smell the SKUNTANK's stink from a mile away, even without the visual cue. "Though I'm helping Zekrom remember his past, so I suppose he has reason to be quiet." He adds, grabbing Salamence's attention with a sharp whistle and pointing at its target.

Before the Skuntank can come any closer with its ACID SPRAY, the dragon descends upon it with a THUNDER FANG before shaking it unconscious like a ragdoll. PARALYZED for good measure, capturing the skunk proves to be effortless after a lazy toss of a Luxury Ball.

despite being friendly with the prince, there is still a lot he does not know about him especially when it comes to zekrom. he'd never bothered to look nor ask but he figures now is a good time as any.[break][break]

"i'm not familiar but how did you come across zekrom in the first place?"[break][break]

a head pokes out of the ground, then another, and finally one more to complete the dugtrio set. it spits out a SAND ATTACK at them which splashes onto his shoes. it digs back down after, disappearing.[break][break]

what a pest.

There's a rustle in the bushes nearby. Remiel stops, and his Salamence looks down from the sky above to watch, too. The sound of a low growl follows shortly thereafter: it's a TYRUNT. Strangely enough, however, it doesn't attack after emerging. Instead, it pushes its snout into Remiel's hand as if asking for food or pets.

"I met him just before the war," Remiel explains, petting the Tyrunt but pulling his hand away swiftly when it attempts a play-bite. Used to that sort of thing, and most certainly experienced with Tyrunt, the royal goes right back to showing the dinosaur some care. "A MEGALOPOLAN GENERAL had captured Zekrom to use his power and open a portal. I put an end to that and saved him."

Reaching into his pack for a Luxury Ball, the ambassador taps it against the Tyrunt's snout and watches it disappear in a flash of golden light. "You and Groudon met on the battlefield, I presume?" He asks Matias afterward.

"i first encountered it during the mount chimney incident over a year ago. we were dispatched to contain it, which we did, and it vanished along with regidrago."[break][break]

while he explains, he sees a nickit trying to sneak up on them. but the moment he locks eyes with it, it dashes away.[break][break]

"it was in another universe. so with Melody Miro's help, we retrieved it and brought it back."

Hotchkiss drops from the sky and lands in the forest to scavenge for prey. In the meantime, a SABLEYE that lurks in the shadows targets Remiel. It begins its haunt by attempting to SCRATCH the back of the prince's neck. Thankfully, his Salamence snatches it up with a THUNDER FANG just when it pounces.

Remiel turns to regard the paralyzed phantom, pulls out a Luxury Ball, and captures it. Afterward, he continues his conversation with Matias as they walk down the forest path. "Ahh, the incident at MOUNT CHIMNEY. I remember that. I would very much like to know where REGIDRAGO went as well. Perhaps one of the rifts might lead us to it." He suggest, deep in thought.

The rustle in the trees caused by Hotchkiss' descent attract the attention of another titan in the forest: a TOEDSCRUEL. It emerges in a great fury, summoning an EARTH POWER to try and subdue the dragon. The Salamence, however, takes to the skies to avoid the explosions of earth. It then blasts the large Toedscruel with a fiery DRAGON BREATH, causing it to succumb and collapse.

Remiel is quick to reach into his pack and pull out a Luxury Ball next. After casting it and capturing the forest creature, however, he returns his attention to Matias. Remiel had noted the RED SHARDS in the man's skin before and connected the dots when it came to the incident with the Regidrago. He knew how to identify shrapnel when he saw it.

But, rather than pry about his condition, the prince makes an inquiry about the ancient golem instead: "He's here then? Somewhere in Hoenn?" The fact that he was on the brink of setting out to explore Draconid ruins suddenly became that much more exciting...

zorua's ILLUSION is broken either way the moment rampardos connects with a ZEN HEADBUTT. it's knocked back into a tree, SCRATCHING on to avoid falling slump to the ground.[break][break]

"i'd like to venture back someday."[break][break]

he also conveniently does not mention how he and PENELOPE LIVY have tried to do as much only to fall short. even now, he wonders if it's by chance that the primal crystal failed to take them back, or if it's by design.[break][break]
