There was an influx of people at the pokemon center as of late. Melody felt bad about it since a lot of it was pokemon who had been injured during the events of Meteno entering the air space but she wasn't a healer, only had pokemon who knew healing moves but it didn't seem to be enough as the dosage was too severe. [break][break]

So what was the next best thing? Seeking out someone who might have medicinal medicines that can help, . She had a flower shop in petalburg woods last melody had heard so she decided to drop by. The shop's bell rings as Melody enters the establishment and melody's singsong voice penetrates the calmness of within. [break][break]

"Helloooo Elisabeth? Are you here?" she asks, unable to see the woman upon first glance.

Daffodil the Bellossom, a.k.a. Dilly, would be the first to see enter the small cottage. Its resident florist had her head bent down over an elaborate bouquet of roses interspersed with baby's breath, which was being watched with delight by a Sunkern sitting on the table.[break][break]

The Bellossom tugged on her mistress's skirts insistently, and Elisabeth glanced up just as Melody spoke aloud, her sing-song voice carrying through the otherwise empty room. "Ah, Miss Miro," she said, somewhat surprised by the particular visitor in question. It wasn't every day an Elite Four entered her home unannounced. "Is there something I can do for you?"[break][break]

For some reason, Melody looked worried. The tiniest thread of fear that this was not simply a social visit lingered in the back of Elisabeth's mind, and she silently prepared herself to attack should the opportunity call for it.[break][break]

Privately, she hoped she wouldn't have to. She actually liked Melody.

Melody suddenly spotted Elisabeth and smiled, she was glad to see Elisabeth was in good health, one never knew where life could suddenly turn especially after the events of Meteno. [break][break]

She pulls out a pokeball and releases the little pink baby into her arms. "I was wondering if you knew anything about...arbok poison?" she asks as Elisabeth maybe have known about how to care for pokemon. [break][break]

The igglybuff sneezed in Melody's arm and then wheezed "The pokemon centers are overcrowded right now and you're the only one who might know a medicinal recipe.." she says as Melody was desperate to make her pokemon feel better. "Is there any way you can help?"

Being asked about Arbok poison as a black market poisoner was not an auspicious start to this conversation.[break][break]

Elisabeth tensed every so slightly, only relaxing after the Igglybuff was revealed in a bust of light in Melody's arms. The poor, pathetic creature appeared to be struggling to maintain consciousness, and Elisabeth's shoulders lowered as she expelled a sigh.[break][break]

"That's most unfortunate. Let me see what I can do, hm?"[break][break]

She gestured for them both to take a seat at her tea table; her shop doubled as her home, and its open-floor interior allowed for easy access to the kitchenette and dining area to her right.[break][break]

Meanwhile, Elisabeth busied herself in her cabinets, while Dilly dutifully began to set a pot of tea for their guests. She was a very well-mannered Bellossom.[break][break]

...Unlike Sunshine the Sunkern, who glared at the Igglypuff with a toddler's jealousy at being ignored for someone younger and more helpless.[break][break]

As soon as the seat was offered, Melody walked forward and placed her bottom on the chair. The igglybuff's eyes barely staying open to even know what was going on. She was trying to stay conscious as Melody was fraught with worry. [break][break]

"I'd say like...30 minute's ago? I wasted time going to the pokemon center that was overflowing first. I tried to use an antidote but It didn't work.." she said as she had trouble understanding why the antidote hadn't worked before that she always used for all of her pokemon. [break][break]

"I also tried to have my hatterene cure her with it's healer ability but...nothing either."

Dilly brought over a delicate tea cup, its lip and saucer prettily adorned with images of Ledyba and Ledian, as a delightful peppermint fragrance wafted from the brew.[break][break]

The Bellossom paused for a moment, her own HEALER ability glowing from her as she attempted to ease the misery of the small Igglybuff.[break][break]

It was as said. No visible effect took place.[break][break]

"Are you certain it's the poison?" Elisabeth asked, stepping closer with a vial of her own antidote in hand. "I'm not certain an Arbok should be able to cause this much distress."[break][break]

"Well I figured cause it was a baby that maybe it would be more lethal..." she adds as Melody also had found it rather strange...but it NEVER affected any of her pokemon this badly. [break][break]

The igglybuff was passed off to Elisabeth, the ballon pokemon's stomach being tender to the touch as it whimps in her hands. The faintest smell of grass on her breath. The smallest of green marks on her face as she grumbled. "She was battling an arbok, it bit her and she scored the takedown...but then she fell over afterwards I think from a glare attack at the last moment and then when I picked her up she had been acting like this ever since." as some tears began to form in her eyes, she should have never let igglybuff battle.

Elisabeth's eyes scanned the peculiar green markings on the Igglybuff's mouth and stomach, resting her chin on her hand in thought. She glanced at her antidote, then back to the baby Pokémon, before ultimately discarding the vial on her tabletop.[break][break]

"I have a suspicion."[break][break]

Delicately, she pressed two fingers on the Igglybuff's tender stomach, and the baby Pokémon wailed in misery. Elisabeth's eyebrows rose in reply, and her mouth quirked into a tiny smile.[break][break]

"I have excellent news for you, Miss Miro," the florist announced, glancing up with no small amount of amusement in her eyes. "Your Igglybuff isn't poisoned."

"Wait what's wrong with her then?" she asks even more worried that her igglybuff had a terminal illness. She couldn't deal with another death of someone she cared for. [break][break]

Igglybuff tries to cover her mouth and Melody panics "What happen igglybuff?!". [break][break]

She said as igglybuff suddenly barfs, but her tiny size makes it a smaller little puddle of green colored liquid with tiny green squares of thin paper like mateiral. "Holy shit she's dying!! IGGLYBUFF" as Melody instantly began to cry "Elisabeth please help her!!"

This was quickly getting out of hand.[break][break]

Between Melody's high-pitched shrieks and the Igglybuff's grass-green vomit on Elisabeth's white blouse, what had been an entertaining diversion from Elisabeth's regular routine had become something of a nuisance. She sighed deeply and heavily, reaching for a handkerchief to try, in vain, to wipe the slime from her clothing.[break][break]

"Your Igglybuff is not dying, Miss Miro," Elisabeth said drily, her handkerchief now ruined to the same degree as her clothing, which appeared barely any cleaner for the effort. "It is merely nauseous, that's all. Did you leave your Pokemon unattended in the woods for any point of time? Sometimes they can eat sour berries and get sick."[break][break]

Her grumpy Sunkern had done so many times, on multiple occasions. Ridiculous creature that it was.

She slams her forehead on her desk. [break][break]

"REALLY? IGGLYBUFF? ALL THAT ACTING FOR A TUMMY ACHE?" she shouts chastising her Pokémon but bringing it in closely for a hug. [break][break]

"You dumb ass..you ate grass again didn't you." she pouts as she tries to wipe away her tears at it made her needlessly worry. She then breaks her concentration as she squeezed igglybuff a bit too hard and the pokemon hurled on melody now. [break][break]

She pauses and recalls the pokemon into it's pokeball. "Sorry about that waste of time...igglybuff is gonna get a stern talking to about eating random things in nature again." as she sends out her tatsugiri who fires a small burst of water to clean her top.
