Once again, Thomas found himself in yet another Space Time Distortion. This time, it was during a trip through the desert. The winds would partially uncover a Red Shard. The Kalosian would quickly pick it up.

What looked like an Arcanine came charging at him. Thomas immediately brought out Colt the Clawitzer to face the beast, ready to attack. The Clawitzer would fire off a Water Pulse at the Arcanine. The Arcanine would dodge the attack with a deft burst of Extreme Speed, before closing the gap between himself and the Clawitzer, greeting the sniper with a Head Smash.

The Clawitzer would be sent flying several feet by the attack. Interestingly enough, the Arcanine in question didn't seem to be hurt by the use of Head Smash. Normally, such an attack would have do the user considerable harm. But then, this Arcanine looked different from the norm.

The Arcanine turned to face the human, ready to tear Thomas apart, it seemed. Thomas, standing his ground, got ready to dodge whatever the hound threw his way, and release another Pokemon.

From a distance, Colt emerged from the sands, hurt, but still conscious. And more importantly, furious. Seeing his target, the Clawitzer would fire off another Water Pulse at the now distracted Arcanine, this time landing a direct hit. The combination of his power, and the strange Arcanine's biology would allow this to be a one hit takedown. Thomas would quickly toss a Pokeball at the Arcanine, then go over to Colt to check on him.

After recalling the Clawitzer, and collecting the fallen Arcanine's Pokeball, Thomas brought out Kalameet, to fly them out of the area, and to get some much needed medical attention for the two.

a few steps into the distortion was enough to see it already dissipating. "a shame," she breathed out to her banette that just cackled at her feet, circling her slowly. the two of them searched for what they could get before the full closing of it, picking up what seemed to be a shard of some sorts. she would find a use for it, she was sure.[break]

"what's this?" having stepped upon a fragment of some color, aimee didn't quite know what to do with it other than pick it up. "it's quite pretty!" she exclaimed as she shoved it into her pouch. barney seemed to think so too, as it marveled at it and then picked up her trainer to start flying them both out of the time-space distortion.[break]

intending to bring back a present for cato, rhugone was scrounging on the ground for something of interest. there seemed to be varying colors of interest but she settled for a blue shard. it felt cool and firm in her hands. where exactly did it come from? such questions she supposed would have to be answered later, seeing as she was ready to turn around and head back to ponder that with her boss later.[break]
