and MATIAS SILPH answers the question for her, though he seems more cranky by the minute.

"yes, mossdeep. it won't be for long, just until the additional studies are finished."

even though annalise was looking at illeana reyes when she asked her question, it's MATIAS SILPH who answers first, explaining that they're taking jirachi all the way to mossdeep. for some weird reason, he reminds her not to tell anyone. she raises an eyebrow at him.

illeana helpfully clarifies why they're taking the wish pokemon off such a secure island.[break][break] i wonder what research they're gonna do, she thinks, nodding her head at the professor's answer. [break][break]maybe ways to make it wish-ready?
[break][break]in the back of her mind, annalise knows they'll need a wish sooner than later. her eyes linger on jirachi as her companions announce the end of "tea time", wondering if the pokemon can somehow undo all the drk triad drama with one wish.

a win is a win, even if he had conceded to her approaching stubbornness. she hadn't even needed to dig her heels in too hard for this, though, which is a plus.

one final strap clicks into place and she's turning toward matias and annalise with a nicer smile than before.

"bring jirachi over, please."

almost ready... the cargo is all that's left for them to secure before beginning the transport.
