the last time the three of them had been on a boat together, they'd been searching the seas for the hidden location marked on a random survey's map. annalise hopes this boat ride will lead to something less dire. she joins MATIAS SILPH at the railing, eyes fixed on the water below.

the silence is cut through by a question about kids. between his age, his relationship, and his convenient baby carrier, annalise isn't surprised that it's on his mind.

her eyes drift toward annalise henderson, toward the concept of the necessary tests they must run.
