The DRK Triad had feared the Meteno-Deoxys - or at the very least, had been surprised by it. Caught off guard. She wondered what they would do if Rocket somehow managed to win the patronage of Necrozma, another being from Ultra Space. It would certainly give Rocket an advantage against the League, and perhaps, finally, put them on equal footing with Holo and her peers. The loyalty of the Unown was critical, but Necrozma was one of the most devastatingly powerful Pokémon to ever exist.[break][break]
Nomi eyed her companion. If there was anyone she knew that had the...capacity to control Necrozma, it would be him. Just like with all Legendaries that chose to bestow their boons on the select few humans they viewed as worthy, one would have to earn Necrozma's trust: in this case, convince it to collaborate rather than consume. It was an infection, a virus...a blight. Reasoning with a force that unrelenting and cruel never worked. After all, when one was so far gone as to become the living manifestation of a black hole, there was no turning back. The event horizon, they called it. You'd have to be equal parts darkness to survive.[break][break]

"Necrozma would be worth pursuing," she agreed. Her realizations about Zev did not disturb her. She had known what he was the moment she'd first worked with him, after all. The important thing was that he was on their side. She did not envy those who had to face him on the battlefield. "Perhaps there are steps we can begin to take on that front."[break][break]
A Metang floated idly by. Half-distracted by her thoughts, Nomi waved half-heartedly at Val. A Metang would be useful, worth catching. The Sylveon sent a wave of PSYCHIC energy at it, and Nomi threw a Pokeball.
