Ultra Deep Sea. She didn’t like it. But necessity demanded she was here.

Something called Seal Stones had gotten Team Rocket’s attention. And she wasn’t about to let them have it. She needed clues to its whereabouts, and for that she needed to catch someone who knew something.

And so she had taken to the waste cave-like world. For once clad in proper lightweight protective gear, by demand of her head of security.

She was currently chasing down what appeared to be a singular Rocket Grunt, lost and afraid. From time to time she would see glimpses of his fearful gaze as he confirmed that she was still chasing him. The Koffing floated by his side as fast as it could, but it was lacking behind.

A desperate command escaped from the grunt, quickly followed by a huge SMOKESCREEN from the koffing.

“Oh no you don’t!” She growled

With a quick pop her Aggron was released from her Pokéball. “Don’t let them escape. Rock Slide!”

With a loud roar countless rocks, both large and small were fired with incredible force through the smoke. Quickly followed by a loud crack and a bone chilling shriek.

The smoke dissipated.

The Rocket was on the floor, clutching a clearly broken leg as he howled in pain. His Koffing hovering protectively above him as Council-woman and monstrous-steel behemoth walked toward them.

“Do not resist.” She commanded.

While the fight was clearly already over, a purply ghastly aura coated Aggron's claws. As both trainer and Pokémon approached with clear harmful intent.

the SEAL STONES were their objective. to obtain them by any means necessary, no matter what or who got in the way.

[break][break] "go on ahead!" jayden called to the rocket squadron that he led, arm flashing out as he saw rocks crumble underfoot. the roar of someone's scream was drowned out by the sound of battles clashing around the interdream space. pink fog leaked around them, but jayden's heart had already longago been shuttered against such a sensation. "mint," his eyes snapped to the beast at his side. "come with me."

[break][break] he sprints forward towards the sound - and sure enough, there it is. the sight of a rocket grunt howling as it clutched it's leg in pain.

[break][break] but that wasn't the sight that drew his attention.

[break][break] burning violet locked with that of Elinor Anderson, who was approaching the injured grunt with murderous intent.

[break][break] "councilwoman," he said, his voice carrying through the smoke. "looks like we meet again."

[break][break] a sharp whistle and his dragapult sailed from the sky above, grabbing the grunt with it's claws as it sailed through the air. astlik sweeps behind him, near mint frost, to drop the grunt a safe distance away.

Mint follows as directed, eyes wide as he heard rocks tumble and screams echoed. The executives would take over as jayden cross pulls him back. He turns, running behind Jayden and eager to catch up. All he sees is crumbled rocks, someone underneath and a woman looming over. A taller man is yelling something at her as his admin moves in closer. [break][break]

He slows hearing the whistle and lets out his partner. "Gnocci, prepare to dispatch to the infirmary back on base." he said as the psychic pokemon began glowing. As soon as the ghost type drops them, he locks eyes with the grunt. "We can discuss this in your report later, brace for transport." he explained as his Beheeyem TELEPORTed the grunt away. [break][break]

He runs for his partner, reaching down for another pokeball. "Yoru, brace yourself!" he sends through the coms as he tossed a pokeball out in the air. Out bobs a minty green pair of sentient beach balls. "Theta, grill 'em!" He ordered as he reaches to his side. [break][break]

The green and pink Weezing's mouth is already open as it falls down to the ground, expelling a wave of fire to burn and split the Andersons. Hand on his waist, he clicks out a knife, ignoring flames and darting straight in for Laurence Anderson to go in, just like he'd see Jayden do to PENELOPE LIVY in the past. He aims and arcs his arm ready to slash at the knees like the tree the guy was.

Elinor came to a halt, Aggron did the same as it noticed the sudden stop from its trainer.

Lars’s words had pulled her out from what haze had clouded her vision of what they were supposed to do.

For a moment she felt awful for what she had done. But as her eyes fell upon her victim, she felt fear edging an angry blood frenzy on. Vision trembled for a moment, before being pulled to an approaching voice. A familiar voice. The familiar sensation was not pleasant.

He returned her words, and it stung. The sting annoyed her. She would not deign him with a debate this time.

But before she had a chance to reply or act a blaze of fire swept the floor forcing her and Aggron to dodge out of the wave, splitting away from her cousin. She sent a worried look his way, before turning the now anger to Jayden and his companion.

If she remembered correctly the Rocket that stood before her was rather adept at aerial combat. So she would stick to the ground.

“Bury them.”

With a loud roar the Aggron sent another wave of ROCK SLIDE toward the newly arrived Rockets.

“Eli! What the fuck are you—” he trailed off before the explosion of fire—which made him angrily hiss the moment it erupted—cut him off from her.

“Oh, you have got to be joking me.”

There was a blur of movement he caught on sight—and no less than a few moments later he pulled a Dusk Ball and popped it to full size before throwing it out in front of him while swapping out his Metagross—

Amir the Silvally emerged from the depths of the Dusk Ball, roaring at the flames before throwing out a defensive Protective screen around him.

“You… wouldn’t want to do that,” he continued quietly, as he felt the same thing happening like before—each other step of his was frosting the ground he stood on and he could feel the tingling energy arcing through his hands.

The very tips of his fingers were already frosting over as he tried to control the berserk energy from within him and form it into something he could actually use.

his taunts fell on deaf ears, or perhaps just a refusal to bite. interesting, considering his last interaction with the councilwoman.

[break][break] "silence will not save you, councilwoman."

[break][break] just as mint frost makes a vicious sprint towards articuno's patron, the rocket admin keeps his attention on the begrudging Elinor Anderson. a mighty roar of ROCK SLIDE is sent cascading his way, and perhaps had he been a lesser individual, not forged in the fire of kanto's rocket, he might have fallen prey to it.

[break][break] his dragapult swoops down to protect him, belching out a FIRE BLAST towards the crumbling rocks. it pierces through the bedrock, firing an exploring off between them both. it provides the perfect opening for jayden to dart through. in his fierce grip is a serrated dagger, one that still tastes sweet of freya morningstar's blood.

[break][break] using the cover of the pink mist and interdream cloud to his advantage, he sprints forward and slashes downwards, a perfect mimicry of mint frost's assault.

Tortellini does well enough letting out a groan as he continued floating above the battlefield like a satellite around the Earth. While Mint bounced off a PROTECT wall, the force field cutting him off from his target. The Head Ranger starts murmuring to himself, and he can hear a low grumble of what was probably an insult or a warning. His dagger flashes in his hand, and he tenses. [break] [break]

Tortellini seeing a target is more than quick to open his mouth and vomit a TOXIC sludge from above, trying to catch the Sylvally in its path. Clouds of a strange GAS are puffed out of the green beach ball, as Mint tries again. He moves quickly feeling the ground rumble. He stumbles as the big rocks drop from the sky covered only by Tortellini speeding to use himself as a shield for him. He cries, slow and loud as boulders bounce off him but Mint is already taking off again, flanking away from Elinor and his fire wall and right back towards Lars again. Once more, he prefers to stay low, aiming to get the taller ranger off balance with another swipe of a knife.

“Whoa,” he hissed, looking at the incoming cloud of purple gas. Considering he was leaning against the Silvally, all it took was a slap on the side of his head, and something tumbled out into his hand, before hastily pulling something else out and slapping it in and slamming the ‘slot’ shut.

The Silvally fins earlier turned a subtle shade of purple as compared to the seemingly colorless ‘white’ that they were earlier, and hopefully this insanity was going to work…

“Eli! What are you doing?!” he shouted over the roaring flames. He couldn’t see her much, only hear the sounds of scuffling over the crackling of the fire, before another flicker of movement came whistling in.

The Silvally roared, before summoning an avalanche of boulders—a Rock Slide, intent on getting the Weezing—or the regional variant, from the looks of things—out of the way while he staggered as he leaned on Amir.

“Nice try on the poisoning attempt…” he continued as this time, a barrage of icicles formed above and around him, before exploding out in a radius around him. While they were on the smaller side, the icicles were still sharp.

Finally, something fucking useful! he thought as he then swung himself on his Silvally’s back—wow, would you look at that Josh Devlin.

• Lars does some switcheroo-fu and swaps the Ice memory out for the Poison memory (Amir is now Poison-type)

[break][break] massive claws reach for him, aiming to peel off his head, and if jayden had not been so severely trained in the administration of assault, he might have found himself embracing death much too quickly.

[break][break] as it was, he dodge-rolled. claws scrape against his armor, chips of steel falling away, as he ducks in an opening left from the aggron. his dragapult soars true, yet a wall of SURF crashes through.

[break][break] droplets of water splash in his face as he digs his heel into the ground and twists. without stopping the momentum, he reaches for his belt. shadows gather in his grip as his DUOBLADE comes into view. without stopping in his charge he grabs the hilt of the blade, replacing a dagger for the sword, as a SPRINGTIME STORM explodes from the metallic edge.

He can't see Jayden, only hear the attacks and on the other side. But as the leftoever embers burn out, Mint doens't dare look. Jayden owuld be fine. He's better at this, and has a far higher kill count that Mint ever could. Him on the other hand? If he broke focus for a second he'd be out could. Or worse. Right, an avatar with ice moves. Tortellini cries out as Mint tucks and rolls, careful with his dagger as he's chased by the icy spikes. Tortellini can't cover him shaking off dust from another ROCK SLIDE and looking about confused. He swiftly disappears as Mint keeps running. The only way to stay alive was to stay agile. He pulls a strange STICKY GLOB out of a pouch on his side, throwing it at the Sylvally's feet. "Sit still, Frankenstein." [break][break]

As the barrage of ice calms, Tortellini moves once more rushing for Sylvally and training and smacking at them with ASSURANCE after the punishment it's taken. Mint follows his partner not wanting to allow escape, and keep the pressure on the pair.

So close, yet so far away.

Aggron feels Jayden narrowly dodging its claws. But before he could even consider another attack, Dragapult jumped him, a tidal wave of water following suit, pushing him away from his trainer.

Desperation.

It tried to fight the water, cut it with its claws, beat it with its tail. But the water kept dragging him away until at last his anger turned to the Dragapult.

Water had been Dragapults weapon, but now Aggron was inclined to use it as well. It took aim, jaws open as it let the HYDRO PUMP fly.

Meanwhile Elinor was doing her best soul-borne impression as she duck and rolled to the best of her ability. Though her best wasn’t all that good. The storm exploded from the metallic edge, and though she dodged the majority, she still felt how the howling forces teared at protective gear, even causing damage beneath.

She needed to reunite with Aggron, but she doubted Jayden was about to let her do so easily. And looking toward Laurence Anderson revealed the cousin was occupied as well.

Right… I need to deal with this on my own.

She retrieved a Pokéball and released its inhabitant quickly. The Shiny Kommo-o took to the field standing between its trainer and jayden cross. Its usual lazy expression exchanged with one of fury.

“Kaleo, be careful, that guy isn’t going to be easy.” She quietly informed her Pokémon. It gave a nod as it began to visible BULK UP.

He’s on the Silvally’s back—not exactly a place where you’d expect to see someone like him.

Normally he’d have taken to the skies and have brought down utter frozen hell with the Iceborne Mirage, however today was one of those days where ‘the number you dialed is not yet in service’ therefore he was… pretty much on his own.

Not to mention this dang-blasted area was causing his paranoia to just blow up tenfold, because what if, just like the last time he’d been here, the exact same thing that happened before would happen again with the tentacle monster? With faelan foxgrove almost getting iced because of his own powers going out of control?

(That was bad enough as it was.)

The frost that was literally dripping out of him like a leaking faucet had only gotten slightly under control. Just as his Silvally was about to attempt to run away from where they stood, Amir just so happened to step onto something sticky, and…

“Amir, go!” he hissed, gently slapping the backside of the Silvally’s head, however the noise turned to one of disgust, and then dismay as he realized—the Silvally was stuck. And if he got down, then he would get stuck, too!

“Che palle,” he hissed as he realized that he was, effectively—trapped in one location. There is one option, however it would involve getting—

The jarring attack hit the Silvally full-on, and Amir roared, however now that the strange-looking Weezing is in close proximity the Silvally took advantage of the distance and then blasted out a close-range Flamethrower; never mind if the jarring force of the attack also sent Lars reeling from where he was seated.

Think fast, think fast, you’re literally a fucking sitting duck here! he thought; sheer stubbornness and determination making him hang on the Silvally’s back as he felt the rising heat from Amir’s maw trying to catch the Weezing-variant in its flaming path.

• his paranoia is going through the roof, because what if what happened on his previous visit here happens again; a.k.a his avatar powers spiraling dangerously out of control due to Nihilego poison?!
• Silvally takes the full force of the attack, which also jarred his passenger and like, ouch. Ow, ouch, what the fuck
• Silvally then used Flamethrower in an attempt to burn (or at least drive away) the Weezing out of range
• think fast, idiota, you’re stuck here
