Despite his stoic look, Aaron's heart jumped when the dust settled and showed that Trevenant had gotten Eris instead. How?! Was it Ally Switch? There was no way she was that fast, and Teleport was limited to a very few Pokemon. What hurt was the supervisor's words. Flipping him off, Aaron yelled at the guy before he teleported away. "I'll finish her off, then when I find you, you best fight me like a man, you coward." And with that, they were gone. Trevenant had retracted his Horn Leech, and slammed his head on the ground, begging for her forgiveness. While also taking a glowing leaf from his forearm and offering it to her wound. Natural Cure. It might sting, but at least it wouldn't get infected. Hideo was first to move once they were gone. "Anyone's Pokemon have a healing move?" Eris did. But still...he took off his shirt. "Scizor, cut off the sleeves!" His red bug zoomed over to him and did so. Putting the shirt back on, he offered the sleeves as a bandage and as a makeshift sling. He would gladly help with that. "What were you thinking getting in the way? How DID you get in the way?! What are you doing being with scum like that?! Whatever that guy said to you clearly made you upset..." His questions poured out before he could stop an ask in a much more measured tone. It wasn't often his emotions ran haywire like this, but damn it he wanted answers! And if she has to be honest, she's lucky that it had just been her shoulder rather than any other vital spots.[break][break] Letting out a slow exhale, she puts up no resistance and simply flops onto the ground. A pokeball is pulled from her satchel, a Comfey called out to shower waves of Aromatherapy to ease the tension. And as she takes the torn up cloth and tries her best to tie up the wound, she listens to both boys pile questions on top of each other's and waves it off.[break][break] "Relax. Nothing major got hit. I'll be fine." It's said for them and Mesprit, ensuring that the little Lake Guardian doesn't quite go hogwild on Aaron for attempted murder. Instead, the pixie finds her attention drawn to Uxie, gravitating towards her counterpart with a whole mix of emotions that it might just be able to dissect.[break][break] Curiosity, wariness, panic, fear, rage, bloodlust. All of it flows in a cycle, only to end with the one final emotion of desperation. Every single emotion that Mesprit had gone through on that fateful day, she can only tell her story through the spectrum she controls.[break][break] "I'm only with them because they saved me."[break][break] Twice now. Though she's sure that Isaac did moreso because they were something akin to family, rather than because of how they were linked by crime.[break][break] "As long as I stay with Rocket, I'll be safe from that person who tried to murder me... and anyone else who might try... helping out is just a small price for this." Eris explained, and that only set him off more. This was by far the most emotion he'd ever let these two see from him. He'd talk, and converse, but it was always his monotone and stoic voice. Not this time. "And who the hell targets a child besides Rocket?! Is it some backasswards League official?!" His hand clenched into a fist as he closed his eyes shut, trying to suppress the urge to shake her. While he did manage to succeed in doing that, his left eye changed color to blue. That only really happened if he was under a lot of stress. But Hideo was right. "I just...I'm sorry. I want you to be safe..." A memory from his past, shortly before he moved to Hoenn, flashed before his eyes. Looking away, he tried to find a path ahead. "We'll get you to them. Hopefully they won't be imbeciles. When we're close...Hideo and I will likely have to bail and find another way out..." It was the only thing he could think of to salvage this mess right now. Getting her somewhere to get the wound looked at was more important than any questions that he had at the moment. The thought did occur in his head that maybe not all Rockets were, in fact, scumbags. Some were just unfortunate souls that owed a debt or the League had failed them in one way or another. The fact Eris was a part of it just hammered that thought home. But another part of her knows that it might just leave more unanswered questions. A look of pity brushes over her features for that brief moment, but it's swept away as she wipes her bloodied hand on her shorts before taking hold of Hideo's hand.[break][break] "I'll be fine. Already got some basic first aid." She doesn't like repeating herself like this, but she knows the injury's sitting pretty heavy on their minds. "I'll get someone to look at it when I get back, but for now let's just... go right here."[break][break] If they're just looking for a way out, she can probably spare a bit of time to help them avoid any Rockets nearby.
