Many words were exchanged, but very few were perceived by the admin cloaked in black. Friendship? The naivety of their sentientments went beyond mere ignorance; it was borderline idiocy. A foul illness strong enough to quell any fear with enough bullshit.

Rocket was no longer the shadow of what had created. It was morphing, changing, growing stronger and more cruel by the day. The practicality of aggression had won it's war over the bleeding hearts that fled their ranks.

Felix sent forth his Gallade. The swordishman brandished his bladed hand, imbuing it with collected pieces of the NIGHT.

"The only fool is you, Fox."

Attacks began to clatter against one another; teeth biting into shadow, jets of water slamming into psychic.

To the noxious gas, Gallade aided in extending the WIDE GUARD, protecting Klefki and the admins with it's block shield.

While Jayden sought to take the lead, Felix kept close behind. Klefki sent out a FLASH CANON, looking to hit where the duo stood.

there is a look in remi's face she knows all too well. it's the look of, 'live to fight another day.' and the look of a certain kind of heartbreak.[break][break]

"gotcha," she calls her carracosta back, captain returning to her ball. she's distracted by the earthquake and the chaos. she reaches to return her lycanroc as well, taking remi's open hand without hesitation and lacing their fingers together-- f-for stability.[break][break]

"course i trust you," she's still got her ball out, it's trying to recall louie but the vortex is between them. "we're friends."[break][break]

concentration furrows her brow as she tries again, panic settling into her chest. the realm's been doing a number on her and suddenly she's terrified. the capsule's link isn't being created and she grips remi's hand.[break][break]

"LOUIE?!"[break][break]

but it's likely her voice can't be heard, the capsule's not making it's connection and little does she know, her companion has long since began drowning.

does not go unnoticed. His expression and his words sting at his heart sharp. His own feelings on the matter are a jumbled and complicated mix of emotions. Frankly, he's frustrated that he cannot keep as rock-solid composure as usual. Perhaps, in hindsight, he should have done more to connect with them...

The death of Jayden's METAGROSS is quite unintentional, of course. But, much like the rift between them, there was nothing that could fix that now. As a powerful HYDRO VORTEX and FLASH CANNON combo comes barreling their way soon after, the pair are forced to think quickly on their feet. He's hardly given a chance to smile at the comment made before taking her hand.

Casting a LIGHTNING STILETTO towards his Mega Gengar, he watches as the Hellmouth accepts it with its large tongue. Then, in a flash, the pair disappear... only to reappear with the Gengar's mouth. It carries them there like Pelipper carrying its chicks before vanishing into a shadowy portal alongside the Golurk (PHANTOM FORCE).

GHOST-TYPE Pokémon, after all, were immune to the effects of a FAIRY LOCK. Remiel couldn't call himself a sub-specialist in the study if he didn't know that.

Their escape wouldn't be without the blade of regret. Pain for all he'd betrayed when returning to the league's cranking gears. Before Felix could cut off their escape, and had managed to push, ushering out of the faded smoke and debris with only knicks and bruises to mark their experience together.

The admin returned to his bladed brother.
