Kouji drew his pokemon back into his pokeball, Absol had done well; but it wasn’t enough to simply do well in a fight such as this one, they had to win, and there was really only one option left for this kind of setup.

He threw the pokeball out, and Drapion took to the field with a roar; before his eyes landed on Chloe; the pokemon in front of him, his new enemy. ”Don’t go killing this one, or no food for you.” He said as he looked down at his pokemon, he was far too wilful, and too aggressive, but he listened.

A sigh escaped Elinor.

Clodsire seemed equally as saddened by Kouji declining the offer. But such feelings were quickly pushed aside as the Drapion appeared.

Night Slash came bearing down upon the Clodsire, and it hurt. A loud “CLOOooD” was groaned in pain, perhaps loud enough for others to hear?

If the groan hadn’t been enough, what followed would surely be. The earth began to quake as Clodsire flooded the area with ground type energies, summoning a powerful EARTHQUAKE into the area.

The earth shook underneath Drapion; who took the damage directly’ as if the vibrations were shaking about each of his organs, blood spurted out of his mouth. He looked on at the Clodsire in front of him; forcing himself step by step, until the moment he could step in front of the pokemon.

”Don’t fucking give up, you’ve got this boy.” The violent creature that had caused him issues before had finally gone forward, and forced himself forward for his trainer, before the darkness coalesced in his claws, in his pincers before he crossed over his chest, a strong strike.

”That’s it. You’re stronger than you know.” He encouraged Drapion as it fought ahead, more than half of his strength taken from him in a singular strike.

The rumbling earth was loud. Elinor knew what that meant.

As the Drapion charged forward with its attack, she heard the loud commanding orders from the site she was hoping to capture. The words were clear, check out the noise.

Reinforcements… Elinor sighed. Sure she had told Lapras to deal with them. But for a moment she began to doubt. And she could not have doubts in battle.

Clodsire was hit, it groaned in pain as it used another RECOVER to lessen the hurt.

Turning to Lapras she said. “Thicken the mist, we are getting out of here.”

Lapras cooed in acknowledgement as the mist began to thicken to the point where it was near impossible to see through.

Kouji heard the sounds and growled. ”I’ve got this, stay the hell outta it!” He said as he shouted aloud, but as they touched down at his position, Kouji was ignored by the superior. He stepped forward; gripped him by the shoulder, and pulled.

”It’s not just you here brat. Now shut the hell up and step in line.” The taller woman spoke, her red eyes bore into him as if to get him to shut up. Kouji considered it, with Drapion out, and their pokemon still in their balls, he was sure he could kill them…

But instead, he shouted into the mist. ”Oi, we’re not done here. We’ll battle again, just watch. I’ll beat you next time!” He said as he took Drapion into his pokeball, and walked away, he wouldn’t catch her when things were like this.

He hated help in winning a fight.

The rest however decided to run into the mists.

Clodsire was returned to its Pokéball in one fluid motion as she jumped atop the Lapras, the power of this realm to let things float mid-air coming in handy as the Water/Ice type ‘Swam’ away as quickly as it could.

In the background she heard voices, some complaining, but another one, shouted directly at her it seemed. Proclaiming a promise to beat her next time.

And yet all Elinor could think of was Fat chance followed by a quick chuckle.
