Someone answers in the dark. A handsome man. Blonde. The Pokémon at his side is something out of a legend. A bright yellow electric feline. A monster worthy of slaughter. He hears the command and his response is a deep, throaty laugh. As the electric legend snarls at his Ceruledge, Hitoshi grins. Readies himself. Falls in beside the bladed ghost Pokémon. [break]
“Man.” Hitoshi sounds friendly. Despite all the bodies and this horrifying situation, he is not upset. His heart is calm, even if his blood is pumping. This is his world. In this world, people wanting to kill him is part and parcel. [break]
“I like ya! Right to the point! No bullshit! Good stuff.” He looks to Jubei, the name given to the Pokémon accompanying him. “Follow those orders, man. Kill this prick.” [break]
Jubei’s blades flare and he charges into melee with the electric Pokémon. His blades extend. They come alight with ghostly energy. It is a strike from a bitter blade, leveled at a man who knows the score.

“I’ll give ya a five star review!” Hitoshi shouts at his opponent, cackling at his own bad joke. He watches what unfolds before his eyes. He watches this legendary creature gather all of his might…[break]
And summarily eviscerate his Ceruledge. The creature is encased in metal. His arms are ghostly blades. Typical Pokemon typing might say this move isn’t super-effective, but it seems to light up Hitoshi’s Ceruledge like a Christmas tree. Jubei shakes, shudders, screams under the might of a Pokemon mightier than he will ever be. The ghostly knight collapses into a heap.[break]
“Well screw you, man! That’s not fair! I ain’t got yer fancy legendaries! I ain’t got any cool moves! Well, y’know what? Try this on for size!”[break]
He refuses to let there be a break in the combat. His foe’s played his little trick. He can only play it once. If this guy, blonde or white or blue haired or whatever, wants to push this fight, Hitoshi’ll push right back. He sends out Kleavor, shrieking. It charges the electric cat.[break]
His two stone axes meet in the middle, aiming for where Ghaleon is standing.

"How dare you!" Hitoshi shouts, oblivious to how that might sound. He's so far removed from normal morality that the concept someone might find the way he conducts himself abhorrent doesn't register as a possibility. They're on opposite sides of a battlefield. People die. His brain can't process why this person is speaking to him this way.[break]
At least he keeps being cordial, once he gets over the huff.[break]
"Just 'cause we're tryin' to kill each other doesn't mean we gotta fling insults!' Kleavor and the great thundering tiger meet in an explosion of fists. Axes meet raw plasma power. Kleavor is sent reeling, wishing he still had the wings that carried him through the sky as a Scyther.[break]
Unfortunately, he has no such luck. He's stuck on the ground, stuck rushing back into fight his opponent. Despite his rocky body, he moves quick. One of the axes swing up into an uppercut. An air slash meant to send his opponent up tumbling to the roof of the cave.[break][break]
Kleavor is unsteady after that hit. This battle really could go either way for the moment. One more good hit could do him in, too. These Pokemon are powerful, but used to ambushes rather than open battle. It makes them weak. Hitoshi doesn't even realize it, but his opponent is exactly right in his estimation of the black dog.

It's decided by one punch. Hitoshi recoils at the power of that punch. It sends his Kleavor sprawling. Rushing for his pokeball, Hitoshi recalls it before the injury can prove fatal.[break]
There are bad odds and then there are this. Hitoshi's no fool. If he has a Pokemon that can copy something like that, that means the genuine article isn't far behind.[break]
"This isn't over!" He says while, like a beaten dog, tucking his tail between his legs and running away. He runs through bodies of people he and his fellow Rockets have killed. They're just bodies. There's no deeper meaning than that. He runs, not because he thinks he might die, but because it's what his instincts tell him to do.[break]
Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again.
