The horde of Munna surrounding Josh and Raikiri was enormous; it would be impossible to miss even at the ludicrous speeds the electrified mythical Pokémon was traveling at. While it wasn't a Pokémon he planned on capturing, the sight of Munna reminded Josh of his Gym Challenge with Hideo Kino, and how much fun his dream adventure was. Perhaps he would be able to meet the Fae Queen again? Or perhaps he would get to explore some of his own great dreams? It sounded like quite the weekend adventure for the rare times he wasn't working overtime at mom-and-pop shops in Mauville's slums.

The Gym Leader slowed Raikiri substantially, pondering whether he wanted to catch one of the Dream Mist-emitting Pokémon. It did not take long for one to force his hand, engulfing the top of his head and feasting on his omnipresent dream to saddle up Raikou! Blinded, the rider flailed about, frantically looking for one of his Safari Balls to bop the Munna with.

Phew, crisis averted! That worked out, too; now all he would need to do would be return to the Minor League Leader for some advice on how to use the Munna after she evolved. There had to be quite a bit of nuance in using Dream Mist to explore one's own dreams, and he wanted to research it as much as possible beforehand. After all, Hideo had expressed concerns about Josh being trapped in the Fae Kingdom had his decisions not been sound! It was a conversation they would have to have at a later date.

In the meantime, it was back to breakneck pace for the Master of Faster. Josh squeeze Raikiri's sides, the sound of electrical arcing music to his ears as the big cat cruised forward at what may as well have been warp speed for a land Pokémon. Several wild Drowzee turned their heads toward the black-and-yellow blur that zipped past them.

Josh's stomach leaped as Raikiri slid around a corner, kicking up a large dust and dirt trail. On the other side of the corner were quite a few visitors looking to catch one of the many Jangmo-o roaming the foothills. "Look out!" the Gym Leader cried, reining his mythical mount off-road to avoid knocking anyone off their feet from direct contact. The high speed pass frightened many of the wild dragons, who reacted with aggression toward Josh and his partner.

While nowhere close to having the sheer power of a Kommo-o, the cacophonous hum of the sheer number of their rattling tails ravaged the Zeraora's sensitive hearing. It was a good thing Josh had the electric-type fitted with a cocoon saddle, as his mount inadvertently threw him back and forth while the electric and fighting-types engaged in CLOSE COMBAT. If this was what like fighting on Raikou's back would be like... did he have a lot of training of his own to do.

As he hurled a Safari Ball at the Jangmo-o, Josh wondered whether it was more him training his Pokémon, or his Pokémon training him.
