noah scampers across the lowered bridge. he's fast. his sneakers clang against the metal plating with every stride taken. in seconds, his shape disappears into the castle.[break][break]

there, he sees scatterings of remains stuck to the floor: old bones time-moored and yellowing. trapped fat leaks outside of pokemon bones—but noah knows little of that science.[break][break]

only the science of broken bones. bruises. black eyes.

investigate the massive mechanical castle found at the northern end of the kingdom. in there, find the ancient remains of humans and pokemon.

noah returns with his urshifu eventually. he's a bit shaken. his mind wants to blame team rocket, but knows it's illogical.[break][break]

something else must have happened here.[break][break]

if asked, noah simply says: "lots of bones. lots and lots of bones."

"nah, that was my bad," he tells PENELOPE LIVY. "i should've mentioned that first."

it was a pokemon they barely know anything about besides the one interaction kyle had with it on ultra space once upon a time. kyle wasn't really conscious with his words, leading to a poor communication between the two.

"i should include that in my notes," he responds to noah faber's observation. "and i guess we can continue at this point when we get back later."

he releases his solgaleo, and with their connection, gets it to open up a portal back to hoenn without any instruction.

"i'm sure a good handwashing is all it'll take." it's another attempt to get the councilwoman to cheer up. "either way, we'd have to get this guy checked."

a step to the wormhole ends his statement.
