Silence had never been so welcoming. As Primarina’s z-move quieted the world around them, Meloetta was forced back from the injured Magearna. Eva rushed to their side, placing gentle hands over the machination’s battered form, “Good job,” she gently tapped the pokeball against the weary Magearna just before the ground began to shake.

Eva lunged forward to catch herself as the world tumbled out of control. She caught herself with a small amount of grace while she reached for her belt. A pokeball cracked open to release a Gallade. The two clung to each other for stability as they watched Meloetta flee.

A familiar set of thunderous steps echoed across the mechanical wasteland. Eva turned to see the Volcanion approach. A HYDRO PUMP bathes the pokemon in a quite unceremonious wave of water. It’s at least enough to encourage them to continue forward to the new waterfall.

Blade heals the Volcanion further by letting a LIFE DEW rain down from above them. Not only does it further spur the Volcanion’s movements, but it also assists their allies in recovering from the battle against Meloetta.

“Whoa,” Eva’s jaw drops slightly when the Volcanion fires up the clocktower. STEAM rises and ignites the clocktower. The long awaited song of its bells ring over the broken kingdom. In the distance, Eva can see the lumbering forms of mechanized Volcanion creeping forward to meet their master.

Instructions are given, and the pokemon set out to repair their broken home.

“I guess . . . that’s it?” she says with an aire of hesitation, “We can help rebuild,” Eva suggests, giving her colleagues a shrug.

At the suggestion of rebuilding Melody nods and agrees. "Yeah, thankfully this song can do it for us easily." she says as she tries to sing it again. [break][break]

However as soon as she starts, she stops as the exhaustion hits her. The song continually took a lot out of her she clears her throat and sits down "I might have to wait a bit before I can do it again." she says as she looks towards Volcanion, wanting to ask him so badly what exactly was going on here. What was that thing? How could it weaponize it's music like that? She had a million questions for it but no energy to really ask them. [break][break]

She lays back on the floor "Me...go sleepy.." as she starts to nod off [break][break]

The combined water from both Hideo's and Eva Morales 's Pokemon was enough to get Volcanion to power through, stabilizing the Kingdom.

Hideo could breathe a sigh of relief; they were fine. The Kingdom was fine. Well, not fine, since it still needed to be rebuilt, but they'd dealt with the main threat. "Yeah, I guess it's time for them to rebuild everything," he said, turning towards Volcanion.

"YOU can rebuild if you'd like," the Volcanion protested, avoiding Hideo's eyeless gaze. "As can these soulless constructs. I still have my own work to do." It barked orders to the machines that approached it, more annoyed by the process than anything, yet it wouldn't be hard to notice the slight signs of relief it felt.

Hideo took a moment to collect his thoughts, remembering his original goal for coming here. There was no sign of Azelf, unfortunately. He'd just have to accept that Azelf probably wasn't anywhere around here. He'd have to search elsewhere.

Melody Miro 's condition caught his attention - it really did sound like that song took a lot out of her. His Beheeyem approached her, taking a quick look over her, before confirming the obvious to Hideo: she was falling asleep. "Not much surprise there; a song that strong's gotta have some drawbacks."

He walked over towards her, taking a seat nearby. "I'll stick around with her, if you guys want to do anything else." It was directed towards CIAN MAHER and Eva. "After that, we can help with some rebuilding…but I'm thinking I'm gonna check out one of the other Wilds after we leave."

Eva smiles softly down at Melody. Of course she’s tired, she had every right to be. She did all the hard work, the rest of them supported her, “Rest well, Melody,” her gaze bounces over to Hideo as he takes a seat beside her, “Ok, if you need anything have Ralts let us know,” she taps her head to confirm she means through a TELEPATHY link, “I’m gonna scout out around the basecamp and make sure there are no more hostile machinations,” including their own copies lurking in the shadows, “You’re welcome to join if you want, Cian” Eva offers, releasing her Gallade that would accompany her, “Once we’re sure it’s safe, we’ll come back to help,” with the Mechanical Kingdom rebuilding, and the Volcanion healed, Eva would likely move on to another Wilds too. Her appetite for discovery could never be satiated.
