Strike after strike hit after hit Gold does what he can to keep on pace with the Lopunny to ensure they could attack together and damage the Paradox pokemon as one in order to match it in power properly. Something he was sure either could do on their own without a lot of strain with how powerful these poekmon seemed to be within the dream dimension. Even with his mega form he was having a hard time fighting. Though maybe that was because both pokemon were electric types and so neither really effected the other as much. Least not until it hits with one last harsh FORCE PALM that Gold loses his Mega Evolution as well. [break][break]

Not that Razz could blame him he hasn't been trained for these type of battles like the rest of his fighters. But its weakened enough that Salem can finish it off as with a large power it summons up a SPRINGTIDE STORM to finish the job off. The pink storm blasting back the Paradox and knocking it out of commission. [break][break]

Razz just huffs in relief before he moves to get close to Luka, "You're going to be alright," its a statement to give hope not a question, "Can you stand?"

The sound of fighting- of fists hitting metal and Pokemon crying out in rage and pain- is terrible to listen to. It's worse since Luka can do nothing to help. All she can do is put her faith in her Lopunny and pray that everything will turn out all right.[break][break]
Eventually, an angry metallic screech announces the end of the battle. Relief floods her, though the silence that follows is almost as unnerving. However if something was wrong, Razz surely wouldn't be so casual. In fact, his small spark of optimism is rather uplifting.[break][break]

"Umm...I-I'm not sure," she answers him. "But I can try. Is Bonbon okay?"[break][break]

Her Audino holds her up by the elbow, and Luka leans gratefully on her in order to stagger to her feet. The wound on her stomach screams in protest as a trickle of fresh blood leaks from it— she winces and sucks in a breath, but at least manages not to cry. In fact, she barely cares about the pain, for her gaze is drawn to the prone form of her Lopunny instead.[break][break]

"Bonnie! W-wait, oh no. I-is she okay?" Worry has her in a chokehold until she notices Bonbon's chest moving, and the wave of relief is almost enough to knock her off her feet again.[break][break]

She reaches out to grab onto Razz, letting her Audino free. "Can you take care of Bonbon, please?" she asks, and Pudding nods and scampers away on her chubby little legs. Satisfied that her Lopunny will be fine in her partner's care, Luka turns back to Razz.[break][break]

"I kind of wrapped it up as best I can," she says, gingerly lifting the corner of her shirt to show a swath of gauze that's covered in blood. "B-but I don't think it's good enough..."

"She'll be fine, knocked out, but fine," he tells her as he does make sure to return Gold back to his pokeball. Thanking him for the hard work as he puts him back in his pack of pokemon. Checking on Luka as she shows off the bleeding wrap, "We should change that as its been awhile I'm sure." Razz offers as he would rip off the only sleeve left from his current jacket with the use of a knife before he took out some disinfectant from his pack. [break][break]

"Feel free to use these to help you out, sadly I'm out of regular ones as today has been... rough if I were to put it lightly," he admits as he would allow her to do it. Helping only if asked. [break][break]

Normally Luka might protest against someone ruining their clothes for her, but right now she has no qualms. She accepts the sleeve and disinfectant gratefully, and starts to remove her old, stained bandages.[break][break]

She hikes her shirt most of the way up her torso so it doesn't get in the way while she changes bandages. It might be embarrassing if the situation weren't so dire, but given the circumstances she's sure Razz will forgive a bit of skin showing.[break][break]

"I-I think it might need stitches," she says, hissing from the sting of soaking her wound in disinfectant. "Do you...know how to do that?"[break][break]

She doesn't want to pressure him though, so Luka tries to smile despite the pain and wraps the sleeve tightly around her waist. "I-it's okay if you don't! There's...I know the League has been setting up base camps around here. S-so if we can get to one soon, that would be best."[break][break]

She takes a step forward and immediately winces. "Yeah, um. Sorry, b-but I think you'll have to carry me."

The head Ranger chooses to look away to give her privacy as he allows the down time to rest a little bit before he would have to hike all the way back up with her. Honestly he wish he could just pick her up and use his explosions to just get up easily, or maybe ever a flying pokemon. But something tells him the movement might just open up her wound again. When she ask about it needing stitches he does take a look to evaluate the damage. "I do, but not delicately," he admits to her making clear that it would most definitely hurt if she wanted him to try. As being careful wasn't something he was taught, having grown up in very much a 'suck it the fuck up you pansy' type of environment. "I think you'd rather wait for the medics up top." [break][break]

When she does ask for help he gives offer her a piggy back ride, informing her to hold him and bare with the pain for a bit as he would have Salem essentially toss them with his psychic abilities while the water like gravity would allow them to take it easy up to the top.

She can wait that long, she thinks. The cut hurts but thankfully it's not as deep as it could be. Frankly, Luka is lucky that an arrow to the gut didn't take her out entirely.[break][break]

With a deep breath, she gingerly clambers onto Razz's back. It's slow going— she's careful not to jostle the wound too much, lest it open again and spill out onto Razz. She clings to him tightly once she's on, though perhaps a little too tight. He'll have to forgive her, for it's not done out of any kind of malice. She's just hurt and scared and eager to get out of here.[break][break]

"Thank you, by the way," she says once they begin their slow ascent out of the interdream zone. "For coming so fast...I don't know what I'd have done without you, honestly." She tucks her head against Razz's shoulder and lets out a sigh. "Gosh...ugh. When this is all over, I'll buy you some sweets, okay? A-and a new shirt. It's the least I can do!"[break][break]

Whether or not she's able to keep that promise will depend on how the rest of the night goes. But for now at least, Luka means every word.
