Mauville hills. It wasn’t a place they normally frequented. However they’d thought it paramount to add more Pokémon to their team. Hopefully Pokémon that knew the meaning of stealth. While they liked all Pokémon they liked when they could perform sneak attacks, probably because they felt like they had more in common with such Pokémon.

Poseidon, their greninja, was the one they felt closest to. Probably because it was the one they had had the longest. And they had both been broken when they found each other. Sage supposed they had helped each other heal. And because of that they knew Poseidon would always be loyal to them, not that they thought Nightwing was disloyal.

Resisting the urge to sigh they shook their head to clear their thoughts. Making sure their mask was still firmly on their face they turned their head towards Poseidon who was keeping an eye out for Pokémon just like they were. ”Nothing yet, do you see anything?” they asked their partner.

The greninja made a sound of negative and they nodded. ”I figured as much, we’ll just have to keep looking,” they told the ninja pokemon.

A voice echoed from the down one of the labyrinthian corridors of MAUVILLE HILLS. Naturally, Remiel decided to investigate it. A SHINY EELEKTROSS followed him in tow, LEVITATING and swimming through the air as though it were swimming through water.

Though Remiel had no way of telling, EURYNOME was sensing all sorts of strange energies in this place. The SHINY EELEKTROSS, after all, could pick up on electromagnetic fields and other forms of energy as easily as most canine's could pick up on someone's scent. There were definitely Ghost-type Pokémon here... and fairies.

Poseidon seemed to be the first aware that someone was coming. As their Greninja suddenly became alert they turned towards the direction the dual type was looking. After a bit they could hear what sounded like footsteps coming in their direction making them stiffen.

Finally a man and a shiny Eelektross came in view. They were about to inquire about who the man was when they heard a noise from behind them. Instinctively they jumped to the side just in time to avoid a Braviary’s wing attack. Deciding they could worry about who the person was later they turned to face the two Pokémon that had showed up.

Neither was one they wanted to catch. Neither really screamed stealthy. And they were still a bit miffed that the Braviary had tried to attack them so they directed Poseidon to drive it off. And the other person could do whatever he wanted as far as he was concerned. Well whatever he wanted as long as it didn’t involve attacking them after all.[break] Remiel Calcifet

A HOUNDSTONE comes out whoofing from another hallway to inspect the commotion. It seems the canine had lived here back when it was, well... living. And, when it spotted Remiel and his Eelektross, it immediately went into a protective fit of aggression as it barreled towards them to try and DOUBLE-EDGED attack.

Thankfully, Eurynome swiftly evaded the attack and CRUNCHED down on the ghostly canine before it could reach the crown prince. There was a brief struggle afterward but, eventually, the Houndstone was completely subdued.

As he produces a Luxury Ball from his pack with one hand, Remiel waves at sage morgan with the other. "Hello there. Are you exploring Mauville Hills for fun as well?" He inquires, casting the ball down at the Houndstone.

Before the other man truly had a chance to response, his Eelektross emerges from a nearby alleyway with a TOGEPI suckled in its mouth. The little baby GROWLS angrily at Eurynome as it struggles to free itself. And, somehow, it manages to use the saliva dripping around its forehead to slip out. Thankfully, Eurynome swiftly catches it again and COILS around it securely this time.

"What do we have here?" Remiel smiles, pulling an empty Luxury Ball out from his pack as he crouches down to greet the Togepi. "I don't think it's safe for you to be out here all alone, little one. You're coming with me." He states, tapping the aforementioned ball on its forehead.

They watched the older male, unsure of how they should feel about him. The fact that he didn't seem put off by their mask was a bit strange in their opinion. Though they supposed, as long as the older male wasn't attacking them, they should be grateful. So far, the dark-haired man only seemed interested in the Pokémon that would show up. And as long as that was the case, they would play nice.

That didn't mean they were about to let their guard down, though. In fact, as long as they weren't too sure about his intentions, they would keep their guard up. It helped that Poseidon wasn't reacting negatively to them. In fact, the Greninja seemed more interested in ignoring the dark-haired man and his companion Pokémon. Though they knew the dual-type would act accordingly if the man or his Pokémon did try something.

Besides, anyone who would want a Togepi among their Pokémon couldn't be too bad. That's what they tried to tell themselves anyway. Though it didn't really do much to relax their guard. Part of them was just tempted to walk off. But they knew there was a possibility of the guy just following them.

The black-haired royal perks up at the sound of the lad's voice. Truth be told, he'd nearly forgotten he was there. It had been a rather exhausting week. "Oh? Doing more exploring of MAUVILLE HILLS, are we?" Remiel inquires. "I'll tag along if you don't mind. Helps to have a partner along when the Ghost and Fairy-type Pokémon here try to play all sorts of tricks with you."

And, just as he says so, a FRILLISH emerges from the ceiling above upside-down. It reaches out with a tendril to try and POISON STING Remiel, but Eurynome intercepts rather swiftly with a CRUNCH. Frillish were some of its favorite foods, after all. Just as she begins to chew in earnest, however, the Eelektross' trainer produces an empty Luxury Ball and steals its prize right out from its mouth.

As he spoke, they shrugged. "I came hoping to add more Pokémon to my team, but since I've never been to Mauville Hills, it could be seen as exploring," they told the dark-haired man. They nodded in agreement, seeing no need for a verbal response since they had already been invited to join. Perhaps with fewer words.

Their attention was briefly diverted when a Frillish appeared. They watched the scene unfold but didn't take any action. While Frillish wasn't a bad Pokémon, it didn't fit with what they were looking for in their team.

The dark-haired man seemed pleased to add the Frillish to his collection before Eelektross could catch it, so they supposed it wasn't a complete loss. As he scolded his Pokémon for trying to eat the Frillish, they looked around, but the only other Pokémon that appeared, an Alcremie, didn't interest them.

They decided to wait for the dark-haired man to obtain his new Pokémon before moving on.[break] Remiel Calcifet

A HELIOPTILE waddles out from one of the hallways without warning. Unfortunately, that's enough to trigger Eury's predatory instinct yet again. The little lizard barely has a chance to TAIL WHIP before the Eelektross descends upon it with a CRUNCH.

Remiel pulls out a Luxury Ball to capture the little lizard afterward, then turns to the stranger they'd met. "Well, I'll be taking my leave now. I've already been here for too long..." He mutters, casting a wary glance behind them. "It was nice meeting you, lad. Good luck on your captures."
