Sadly, Oliver didn't get the chance to respond to Luka about the strange Pokemon she encountered. But it all sounded like it was the same one. With everything else being discussed, it was maybe more prudent to continue later. Paxton arranged the meeting. The red and black haired punk-ish looking ranger brought a copy of both of his reports regarding the strange Pokemon. After arriving into the room five minutes early, he nodded at the man. "I've brought copies of both of my reports regarding the strange Pokemon. I've seen the piles on my former boss's desk, I can easily see a report going missing and/or getting overlooked." He gave a small laugh. Hopefully that would relax them a little.

When Luka came in, or if she was already there, he would answer her question. "To answer your question, it was. I think we did encounter the same strange Pokemon. How did your interractions go?" Both of his seemed pretty...peaceful? At most, the Pokemon did "eat" his Dragonite, then spat him back out, using a Hyper Beam to try to break the dome. Other than that...oh the creature did look like it was going to harm him in the Icelands, but ended up not. Wonder what changed its mind?

Paxton gets up at Oliver Shrakes entered, giving him a small nod as he went to meet him. He takes the reports carefully, flipping the pages and skimming them for now before tapping them together on the table and gesturing. "Thank you. I'm not actually up to date on these sightings, unfortunately." He hadn't know he'd be working in the effort to track them down either for a bit. [break][break]

He'd written his own report of course, with illeana reyes but with so many other pressing matters during the Dome around Hoenn, it may have slipped through the cracks. [break][break]

"That thing nearly killed me, my partner, and Professor Reyes on a small scouting mission for her research on the dome." he explained. "It was sentient, capable of human speech. If telepathically." he added. [break][break]

"It didn't...intend to harm us, if we had no intention either. However, perhaps it assumed at the beginning we were the ones who created- or assisted creating the barrier." he explained with a small shrug. "Though I don't think it ever...ate our pokemon?" he may have suppressed that memory though.

Luka peeks over at the reports Oliver Shrakes had handed over to paxton concordas, skimming them as best she can over her neighbor's shoulder. She hadn't submitted a formal report of her own, but she had been with PENELOPE LIVY at the time. With the woman's position now, it's likely that a version of events has already been formally submitted through the very channels Paxton is working with.[break][break]

But it can't help to add her own two cents. Especially after what her Musharna had tried to glean by eating the strange creature's dreams. Luka's own report is handed over, one hastily typed up the night before. But the memory is no longer fresh, and there may be a few details missing, so talking about it certainly jelps.[break][break]

"When I saw them...w-well, they were aggressive. Looked like they were fighting with those weird cultists that started popping up around Hoenn last year. But they were also looking for something? The titan, they called it. In shoal cave. But there wasn't anything there."[break][break]

Cherry lips purse in thought, though that's certainly never been her strong suit. "I'm not sure they would have fought us if those people hadn't been there, b-but it's hard to say. Do, um...do either of you have any idea about what they are?"[break][break]

From Paxton's description, it seemed pretty much a garuntee that they were talking about the same Pokemon. "Yep, it did the same. Spoke telepathically, and desperately trying to get out of the dome. I was doing some investigation of the dome when I noticed it." Although it seemed Paxton's and Luka's encounters were much more violent in nature. Both cases sounded like mistaken association. Luka's interaction was in Shoal Cave, dealing with the cultists he had heard about in reports. But it was looking for the Titan. He also addressed the eating comment. "It's body morphed to consume my Dragonite. When it did...my buddy couldn't get out. Then it spat him back out unnaturally, its paw turning into my Dragonite's head, and blasted at the dome with Hyper Beam. Then it left. Dragonite seemed perfectly fine, if a bit disturbed by the experience. But he was as strong as ever."

He thought some more about the titan as Luka continued on. What they are? "I'd hazard a guess that the titan they were looking for was a legendary, perhaps Articuno. It has the ability absorb Pokemon and copy their abilities and powers to an extent. The last time I met it, it mentioned a creator, that the creator didn't have a body, just made them and that only them knew its purpose. I would hazard a guess Arceus, but I get the feeling that it was more by human hands. The no body comment could mean an AI of some sort gave it a directive. Or maybe not an AI, but a voice from a different room. I hope I don't sound too crazy..." After all, they could resurrect fossils, even the...wierd ones from Galar. Would it be so much a stretch that someone could make a Pokemon?

Paxton nodded along, picking up luka chêne 's report and glancing at it before back at her as she spoke about her own encounter. He'd seen the cultists with Councilman GABRIEL BLACK but nothing much else out of the ordinary. [break][break]

"A titan?" Paxton frowns, racking his brain for whatever pinged something similar to that title. Could've just been a moniker and nothing specific. He wondered if perhaps it had something to do with the creatures DEREK HOFFMAN and francie myrtle were looking for.

"Not at the moment." he said simply. "Unfortunately, I don't have footage to hand over to Eva Morales 's or dr. illeana reyes 's teams for analysis either." He certainly couldn't think of anything, but he was already worn thin between the Ranger Corp relations with dahlia goode and the council, as well as his deputy duties under PENELOPE LIVY . Not to mention the reports he had to work on for his updates with Gunner Graves . [break][break]

As Oliver Shrakes continued, Paxton tapped his chin thoughtfully. "Like a Ditto? It morphs it's body....Like you'd expect a Ditto to?" he asked trying to clarify the picture in his head. He didn't recall that cat thing doing that in front of him and illeana reyes . "Arceus and the DRK Triad would make sense based on the name but..." It may just also be generic. "No, I don't think it's crazy. I just don't know how likely. A manmade pokemon?" Then again, the creatures that were made out of scrap after the Wilds expeditions had begun in earnest. [break][break]

"Then again, it's not a creature within our records. So it could've been created. That's also not impossible." he added, sighing as he finally flipped through Luka's report. "It's dangerous, but it seemed focused on escaping the Dome which may mean it's long gone now. I think perhaps synthesizing our reports and putting out a directive to the Rangers would be a good start. Just to be aware. As far as I know, it hasn't shown itself near populated areas, correct?"
