HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

loreq has assisted us with many quality of life changes on site involving coding fixes, plugins and more.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

AUTHORITIES ARE NOWHERE WHEN REPORTS ABOUT A RAMPAGING WAILORD DRIFTED INTO THE LILYCOVE COASTLINE reaches Selena, who happens to be around the vicinity as she attempts to get a day off from Rocket. It is only Akhyls, her Naganadel, that is in her possession when it happens. Her Ultra Beast dragon attempts to taunt it back into the ocean with its stinger, but the poison impales the giant mammal, causing it to be poisoned and be more vicious than it ever was.

"ALL CIVILIANS MUST EVACUATE!" She screams on the top of her longs, her familiar voice coming as people begin to wonder whether they have known the lady or not. Some longtime residents must have recognized that it was their previous Gym Leader, long before and during the Megalopolan War. So instead of going out of the beach, some people stay to watch as their former leader attemps to make a comeback.

Among the civillians rounded in Lilycove, Soyeon would have just gotten able to enjoy a nice drink in peace by the beachside before a familiar voice came to her ears, rallying to fight back against the Wailord gone berserk. She reached for her Pokeball containing Artemis and threw it out, quickly running to join the rest of the people in their defense of the city. "Selena!" Soyeon called out, sprinting over towards her. Artemis, hurrying to aid the poison Ultra Beast as it would launch a volley of LEAF BLADES towards the Wailord. She attempted to force it back in order to gain some much needed ground against the gigantic foe. Once closer, the Rocket scientist nodded to the stern looking woman. "I'm with you!" she called out, her Decidueye ready to unleash another volley of arrows.
