The Poison-type's lips curled up into a sneer as it hacked up a SLUDGE BOMB towards the wild creature, subduing it in a pitiful whimper.[break][break]

Casually, Elisabeth lobbed a Pokeball at the defeated Pokemon before turning back to jayden cross.[break][break]

[break][break] the underboss is swift to claim the treecko as hers, and jayden's flickers briefly with disappointment, before neutralizing into it's normal expression once more.

[break][break] the wild salazzle lets out a BELCH towards jayden, but his poipole is quick to materialize. peplo PROTECTS his trainer, with a wild cackle, before releasing a SLUDGE WAVE to poison it's foe.

[break][break] in the space between, jayden tosses a pokeball.

[break][break] his gaze turns towards Elisabeth Fiorelli, blinking.

It made the capture of the wild Pokemon all the simpler for the former florist, who casually removed an Antidote from her person to tend to it before proceeding. Better to cure the Pokemon's affliction now than to forget later.[break][break]

Rarely did Elisabeth hear the name of anya fowl spoken aloud. She blinked in surprise, then as the context revealed itself, found herself frowning.[break][break]

"I used to be," she said bitterly as her Salazzle clashed with a Golbat that had soared in from the treetops. Flames surged forth from the lizard's jaw in a FIRE BLAST, seeking to subdue it as Elisabeth threw a Pokeball towards the bat-like Pokemon. "But things change. People change."[break][break]

They were no different than the very plants that flourished and grew in these woods.
