The people around you look like they belong to an old civilization. Busily, they work at constructing what appears to be a temple or tomb among the great dunes of this place.[break][break]

When asked, a worker says, "We are creating a great protector. Eons ago, a great star fell from the heavens and landed here. We are finally able to harness its power. Go. Take a look!"[break][break]

You enter the incomplete tomb to see a large chunk of some unknown purple material. Red veins pulse throughout it like blood—or poison. It emanates a great power. Before it, several boulders are set against each other.

Gerald Kaiser IS AN UNEXPECTED COMPANION because Selena doesn't know him nor has heard of his name and yet she welcomes the opportunity to be acquainted with a fellow associate.

Introductions, however, are not easy when they are simulated into the Hoennian desert this time around. Except this does not look like the desert Selena has known during her entire stay in the region. Her presence is pulled by the purple chunk that gravitates around the incomplete temple.

Being away from the sandstorm now, she is able to talk with her simulation.

"Doesn't this look familiar, or is it just me?"

And then her hands run through the red lining; a muscle memory of when she remembered touching the poison along the creases of the Calyrex statue back in the imaginary Galar.

Unexpected companion or not, Gerald would join Selena on their adventure into this simulation. He watched the surroundings with suspicion as Selena would lead the way. He disliked the desert, and especially the sand. It was rough and coarse and got everywhere.

Any attempts of introduction would result in only short replies answering her questions in the shortest possible way.

They were here to work, not chit chat.

And so after entering the temple, and receiving a well liked respite from the sand. He found himself in front of a large chunk of some unknown purple material.

“It’s not just you.”

A sense of familiarity had washed over him, but he didn’t quite know why. Before he realized it, he had already gone to touch it.

In the process, a fragment from the ETERNATUS' BODY falls toward the earth...[break][break]

All of you come to and see that the mysterious material is pulsing. With every pulse, the purple chunk begins to manipulate the spatial elements of reality around it and yourselves. Paranoia begins to settle in... before the scenario shifts.

"ETERNATUS." It is the name that keeps on repeating especially when she is trying to recall the events that transpired 'twenty years ago' in her memory. When the boulder pulses, the visions show itself like a deja vu for the Kalosian as she struggles to prevent her muscle memory from doing what she has done before in Galar.

Instead, she watches a strange alien creature leap from the earth—and not a Necrozma—to fight the Skeleton. And just like how it happened, a piece of Eternatus falls into the earth.

But before Selena can even react, the purple chunk pulses more aggressively, drawing her near it as it shifts the space around it into what seems like a leap into another simulation of reality.

The horrific vision of a skeletal dragon soaring above the planet caused a horrible sensation of familiarity. As if he had seen the beast before, yet when he tried to remember he found nothing but blurry images that were barely recognizable.

Still, the sight was horrible in its own right. The alien Pokémon trying to fight the skeletal dragon, pieces of it shooting toward the earth like meteors.

And as they gaze upon it, a sense of paranoia begins to settle in. Gerald is quick to recognize it and decides to move onto the next scenario, and it seemed his partner for today had the same thought.
