"Say what now?" The bit about being mentally 38 catches him off-guard to the point. "Eh, right. Nevermind." It wasn't the weirdest thing he'd ever heard. If anything, this was today's norm.

The rest is easily made sense of. Derek didn't even try reserving an order yet, but he'd gathered most of the materials someone implied to be needed. It was the cost of having it tailored that prevented him from even considering the option.

"Azirim, keep a lookout for me." Dismounting from the serpent and taking his equipment, there was really only one thing to do. Get to work.

Thankfully it didn't require too much focus to harvest some minerals, even if his Gyarados and the pokemon of this place behaved in a disruptively hostile manner.[break][break]

Paxton let out a bark of laughter. "I'm kidding." he said as they continued their course. When Derek sends his partner to maintain the perimeter he moves to pull out his own pokeball. Joules the Magnezone flies out, beginning to join Azirim as well. The small break in work makes him take in their surroundings. "This place is kind of gross, isn't it?" he asked. He didn't like the flesh colored wall or how it pulsed and jiggled. [break][break]

He can hear pokemon growning and even see the strange beasts and mutations begin to encroach. "We're cutting it close." he said, tired grin on his lips as he pocketed what he could mine. [break][break]
